Their burritos were watery, soggy and didn’t taste good, the tacos were not much better. Would not come again.

Went here with friends for lunch. Had the regular al pastor burrito, while cesar had the chicken burrito, and fernando had the beef burrito. It was pretty good and tasty, and good sized, for about $ 8. they provide free thick chips with a salsa bar.(always a plus). friendly elderly gentleman at the register said they’ve been there for 18 yrs. fast service. place is fairly small with 8 tables inside and 4 outside. not a place for a huge group. not the cleanest but not dirty either. simply no frills. outside walkway and area could use a hose down but hey, all we really cared about was the food. Will bring more coworkers and friends here to try other items.

Not the cleanest or most comfortable place, but the food is decent. A super burrito with carnitas is exactly as to be expected. Hearty and flavorful. Prices are good too. And there’s a pretty complete salsa bar and complimentary chips.

Food is good, but not for the price, we got a shrimp burrito for $ 14!!! Almost double the price the super burrito, and with very few shrimp, cant even say that I pay for a buritto stuffed with shrimp…

Didn’t go into here expecting some dancing restaurant, yes it is a hole in the wall. We ordered menudo, which was really good and the people working were very polite. Safe to say we’ll be coming back more often ! Oh and good horchata!

This place is amazing. The best Mexican place in the tri-valley, in my opinion. The food is fresh, flavorful and authentic. Owned by an older man and woman, who are very nice and provide great service without fail. Los Pericos was my old favorite, until I started coming here. 5⁄5. Oh, and they use awesome atomic Chilies(if you are a spicy eater) that they grow at home, that will clear anyone out. If you see them by the salsa bar(hit or miss) definitely try one, with a glass of milk ;)

Small hole in the wall restaurant that has fair prices, quality food, and equal portions. I ordered the super quesadilla which comes with guacamole, sour cream, cheese, and your choice of meat. For $ 4.95 it was filling and had a lot of meat. Take a look at my picture to see. I would definitely order this again. You can get larger portions elsewhere, but paying double the price. If I was to order 2 or these, it would still only be $ 10. My girlfriend ordered the torta, which was a little more expensive, but much larger as well. The bread was about nine inches long and four wide and packed with your choice of meat as well. Between the two of us, we were able to eat both(luckily I ate half of her torta) and still be full with spending only about $ 13.

I found my new«go to» tacqueria… I have no problems with«divey» like places, but I was a bit intimidated by the fact that I was the only female customer here, and even forgot to grab salsa and other condiments… but the 3 tacos were flavorful, so nothing was needed, well maybe the limon and some rabanos would have great in the box. Had the lengua, yummy and soft(not boring at all), the cabeza was my favorite, very rich beefy flavor(salty, not too salty) and the al pastor — just great, no complaint. The only ick was the horchata tasted off, don’t know if the dispenser was just not cleaned properly or if it was from the previous day. Anyway, all 3 were in 1 box and no messes to have to clean up!

This place has amazing burritos. only thing that lacks stars would be decoration, kind of harsh fluorescent lighting. But food is absolutely delicious and it’s a great place to stop by LOVEIT. PLUS, the mom and pop that run this place are lovely

Little hole in the wall place in a strip mall off 580. Tacos and tortas are authentic and price is OK. Moderately clean and service is OK. Be careful with the tortillas and salsa though: you’ll get stopped after a few trips…

Stopped by here on a trip to the Bay Area. Not exactly my favorite place! All I got were three tacos– so maybe I can’t really judge. This place is seriously a hole in the wall. I’d be surprised if it passes health inspection. Doesn’t seem clean. And the ingredients certainly don’t seem fresh. The tacos were simply meat, onions and cilantro. I added some salsa from their not-so-fresh salsa bar. They were ok, I guess. The gold news is you get free chips– but I am 90% sure they are from Costco. I definitely saw they taking the chips out of a prepackaged box. They just didn’t seem like typical tortilla chips– kind of lame. The price wasn’t bad. They don’t have a bathroom but the best news is it is across the street from a McDonald… Which does have one!

Restaurant is ok, not the best but I have had worse. The restaurant is a little dirty and could clean it up a little but if you are looking for some cheap tacos, good place to stop. I ordered a burrito and found it to be a little plain.

Had heard about it from a work colleague that has high quality standards for Mexican food. Tried the standard chicken burrito. It was very good. — Wrapped tight(which is super important — Good tortilla texture — Good mixture of ingredients — Hot salsa was excellent(self serve) The place itself is a hole in the wall but you can see right into the kitchen. Kitchen looked clean. Pretty good. Not amazing but good. I’ll go back.

Yayyyy! Me and my boyfriend finally found a place that we both like! :) I always get the tacos and he always gets the super burrito. Everywhere we go either his is good and mine is bad or vice versa but here we both enjoyed our food! I gave a 4 star because the salsa we got was a little bland but nothing a little lemon couldn’t help. It’s safe to say we will be back!

How is this place still open? The Health Inspector needs to be called! I love hole in the wall Mexican food, but this place is just a hole. They use 2 microwaves to «cook» most of their food. My «to-go» Nachos were«cooked» in the plastic to go container. Because I was was on my 30 minute lunch break without food, I ate it anyways. When I got to the bottom, I realized there were quite a few melted holes in the plastic. I’m sure that plastic was not on the menu! Further, the chips were boxed, «Chef» was doing everything without gloves, or sanitizing between activities, and they got my order wrong!

Found this place searching for a quick bite to eat! We spotted On The Border from the highway and went in. When looking at the menu, we still had the craving for good, authentic-like Mexican food. As we were leaving there a nice man caught our attention and told us our tire was flat. What a bummer in our day! After filling it with air and determining that it’s caused by old tires and a slow leak, we were on our way to Taqueria. This is definitely a no-mess-around hole in the wall. There’s the cashier to order, drinks to purchase and tables to enjoy your food. Best of all, there’s a sauce bar. There is salsa verde, pico de gallo, salsa, jalapeños with carrots, limes, and an orange salsa I didn’t recognize… but the bottom line is great variety. When the employee brought our food over, the lengua was soft and tender, melts in your mouth. The carne asada taco was just as delicious. The meat was grilled to a golden crisp of perfection. Yum! Although we each ordered only 2 tacos, it was a great snack. We both left satisfied and happy that we decided to find somewhere else than the chilli’s-like restaurant chain. This place was definitely quicker and hit the spot! I recommend that you try this place when you’re in the area. Its in the little shopping center behind the Shell gas station just before you get on the highway.

Short Story: This place rocks! Woot! Long Story: I have been coming here for the past 5 years and it’s always been good! The prices are cheap and the food is plenty. The burrito is toasted and that makes it a nice and unique touch. The place is really small so it fills up quickly. Also, it tends to close early, so you gotta get there on time. The service is generally pretty good. The décor is really nice, I wonder if it is hand painted. The ambiance is pretty average. I’m giving it 5 stars because of the fantastic food and good service. Verdict: Lining up to go back!
