This might be my new favorite brunch spot! The avocado toastini was pretty good with a toast topped with freshly cut avocado covered in olive oil and a hard boiled egg on top. However, the paninis were my favorite! They consist of 4 slices of bread on top of each other with melted cheese and warm turkey or avocado in between. The cheese is so gooey and was my favorite part of the grilled cheese! I definitely want to come back here and try all the different paninis and toastinis! The drinks looked super refreshing too :)

I’m not kidding… this place is perfect. This place should have a full 5 star overall rating. There’s nothing wrong with this place. It has a great location with great vibes. It feels down to earth. It’s awesome. I ordered a breakfast sandwich and an orange juice. The sandwich was excellent. I’ve never had a sandwich that had such a simple look, but with an mazing taste. AND they have free water with the cucumbers and oranges in it. That type of water is fantastic. I’m going to be back soon and try some more stuff. I had a good experience. Update: I JUSTREALIZEDHOWFAKETHISSOUNDS: D

This place is delicious! I’m such a huge fan now. The aesthetics of the food is on point — peep the avocado toast!!! But even more importantly, the taste of the food is even more on point. The toast isn’t too dry, and the red seasoning on it gives the toast a nice kick. I got the turkey pesto panini and the avocado grilled cheese panini, and both were so yummy. The bread is the crispy and the cheese is stringy and melty. 10⁄10 would come back again.

on the way to the outlets in Livermore, we were STARVING n we wanted to find a place to stop first before we got our day of shopping started.(we could spend hours there n spend way over our budget there.: /) we wanted to eat something simple, then we can leave right away. The Press is located on Santa Rita Road in Pleasanton. it’s in a small cluster of mom n pop shops. the parking lot there isn’t that big especially during peak lunch/dinner hours. u might have to drive around and the other shops to find a space. the small sandwich shop isn’t that large inside, but there’s also a couple of tables on the exterior all around the entrance n windows. the colorful aqua n yellow chairs add a cute hipster look to the popular spot. the service was good as well. we took our time looking over the simple menu.(LOVE simple menus.) we ordered our sandwiches, paid at the front counter, n went to grab a table outside. our food came in about 10 minutes on cute wooden slabs. they also have coffees n teas in addition to their paninis, sandwiches, n toastinis. we enjoyed everything we ordered. everything on the menu was also under $ 10 which is pretty reasonably priced. they do have a restroom which is located in the side entrance. there was a bit of miscommunication when we were there n we thought the portable in the back(belongs to a construction company.) was the only one customers could use; so don’t mistake that for their real one.

I don’t live in California but somewhere that has a plethora of trendy breakfast/brunch places. This cute restaurant didn’t let me down! I ordered the avocado and egg toastini, and although it was not what I had expected, the flavors were amazing! I quickly ran back to the cashier before the line got too long to order a smoked ham and apple panini for lunch. I had never had fruit in a sandwich before, but it is so delicious– I couldn’t stop eating it. If you’re nearby you should definitely drop in.

Finally, a café that Pleasanton deserves but has not gotten for an eternity! This café reminds me of similar offerings in the city, or even NYC, Boston, etc. Quality, well-crafted«artisan» dishes that aren’t just trying to stuff your face with greasy volume. Coddled egg and cheesy grits: Man, I’d eat this for breakfast every day if I could. Granola parfait: Awesome ratio of fruits to yogurt to granola. I’d eat this for breakfast every other day if I could. Salumi, mozzarella, and tomato panini: Perfectly tasty. Love that the panini didn’t leave juice all over place.(Pet peeve: seeing a puddle of juice under whatever it is I’m eating. Especially before the first bite. Ugh.) Glad that the tides are turning. No more boring suburbia fare. And you can tell this place is being welcomed with open arms. It’s positively slammin’ even on weekday mornings.

They have an interesting way of seating people. When you walk in, there’s a sign that says you place your order first and then get seated. When we placed our order, the cashier asked if anyone helped us with our seating so I got a little confused. Even though it says order then sit, there’s actually a person who gets your name and how many people who are in your party and places you at a certain table. Which is nice, because they’ll move the tables around for you and clean up the area before you sit down. We ordered. Brunch special-Eggs Benedict. reminded me of a croque monsieur with bechamel sauce over the top. Smoked Turkey + Pesto $ 9.75-comes with brie + swiss cheese and tomato. The bread looked like it’ll be hard but when we but into the sandwich, it was nice and crispy yet soft in the middle. Grits with Cheese $ 4– mm. so buttery Food came out pretty quickly and everything was good. The portions looked a little small but they’re filling. Good place to grab lunch!

Such a cute café. They have excellent service. A perfect place to go to with friends. If you’re a lover of fresh ingredients and fine coffee, this is your place. Came here around 11:30 am. Luckily for us, there wasn’t a line; however as soon as we ordered our food, people started to trickle in and then 5 mins later there was a line out the door. They seem to be known for their pannini, tostini’s, and coffee! What we ordered: A cappuccino — very good. Turkey & cranberry panini with chutney and blue cheese Turkey, pear, and Brie pannini They are very fast with taking your order and preparing your food. I love how they check up on you from time to time to make sure you’re ok. This was a great first experience and I will definitely be coming back!

I came here with a friend for a weekend brunch. We opted for outdoor seating, since they were completely full indoors. I think they might have been a little too busy to wipe down the table from the guests who were there before us, but they came by after we asked them to. It was perfectly sunny and warm outside, so we didn’t need the free blankets they offer for outdoor seating. My friend and I each ordered a latte and a panini. I went for the Saucisson Salami Caprese Panini after asking for a few recommendations. It was yummy and hearty! Not overly greasy, and served with a nice mixed greens salad on the side. My friend ordered the Smoked Turkey Reuben Panini and it was weirdly small and flat compared to mine, so we each had half of each panini. Everyone who works here is very friendly! At one point, while my friend and I were chatting, one of them stopped by to chat with us while he was putting away the chairs for the day. As I mentioned, they were pretty busy when we arrived, so service was a little slow. But still good service! I look forward to coming back here.

I finally tried this place that I’ve heard so much about. The sandwiches are yummy. I opted for a non-panini this time. I’ll have to try those next time. I had the turkey on a ciabatta roll which came with a small salad. The portion is just right. The vibe here is nice and the staff are friendly. This place gets really busy and the hours are pretty limited but it’s well worth checking out. Prices are reasonable. I’m glad I was finally able to stop in. The old location used to be a bakery.

Yass! Coffee and sammiches. Always a good combo. And they have excellent plating that make for a good IG photo. I was able to get something for my vegetarian sister too. And oatmeal my niece actually enjoyed. It’s a very cute café with entertaining décor. Perfect for a sunday brunch. Will def come back

I AMINLOVEWITHTHISPLACE! I just don’t understand how this place can be so good… When I first walked in, I was a little confused with the whole ordering and seating process. I didn’t know that there was someone who was helping people reserve tables as they were ordering from the counter. He basically wrote down people’s names on a piece of paper and placed it on the empty tables to reserve it. He reserved a table for me outside. It was a little chilly and they provide blankets! There are also heaters out there, so you don’t have to worry about freezing your butts off! Now on to the food!!! I ordered the avocado and egg toastini and mocha. Even though it was simple, ITWASSOGOOD!!! It was also very filling and I didn’t feel bad about eating it at all! I would definitely recommend this place! I can’t wait to try their sandwiches!

Artisanal sandwiches and toastinis made to order! We got the smoked turkey and pesto to share. They layer one on top of the other and it comes with a fresh garden salad with a balsamic vinaigrette. Delish! And to accompany this, we also ordered the avocado and soft boiled egg toastini. If you’re looking for fancy sandwiches, this is the place to be! The outdoor seating also comes with complimentary blankets to use. I thought that was a cute addition.

Okay friends, this place is a MUST… Bookmark this place, like now! After a kick-a$$ workout, the hubs and I were beyond starving. Knowing that wanted a hearty sandwich, I took to Unilocal to find the nearest and yummiest place to eat. After seeing the profile picture for The Press, it didn’t take long for us to decide this was the place for us! The Press can be found in a hidden shopping center, so be sure to drive with caution as this place can be easily missed from the main street There are available seating options for either indoor and outdoor. For the outdoor option, they offer blankets(yeah, I said blankets!) and outdoor heaters. I absolutely LOVE the indoor décor, very rustic with a twist of modern. Being our first time, the gentleman at the front really helped us in ordering the perfect combination for us. It was nice because all I had to do was tell him what things I like and boom, he created the perfect pair for me. If my pictures could talk they would speak for themselves in saying that they are absolutely delicious creations! After I would recommend this place to my friends, I would recommend that they recommend it to their friends too! Overall, very satisfied visit!

Blankets and Heaters so you can have breakfast on the patio? I must be in Pleasanton. Gluten-free just to confirm that I’m here. I got granola parfait which is as fruity as it looks. Bring a toothpick and floss that thing is sticky, still good. Holy moly though that Salad with the green apple, beets and cheese, WOW. I’m coming back for extra beets and cheese because it just made my day! This place is awesome. From what I’ve seen it looks like they want you to get in the order line first, and allow the staff to do the fuss of preparing your table because it’s packed but it looks like they’re really on top of it and it’s awesome that they care. Customer service, ambience, food 5 Stars

Nothing is better than taking a delicious bite of a grilled cheese sandwich and a sip of tomato soup. That is literally my favorite food combination. My bf and I decided to try this place out because we were in Pleasanton and what an utter delight it was. I am severely obsessed with this place. I have dreams about their grilled cheese sandwiches. My bf ordered the Smoked Turkey with pesto(it also includes brie, swiss, and tomato) and I ordered the Smoked Turkey with tomato jam(it also has brie and provolone). I personally enjoy really spicy food so I asked them to put some jalepenos in it and they happily obliged. I also ordered the Tomato Soup. OMG it was so good! I never knew something so simple could be so delicious. Even the side salad that come with it was yummy. The service was really nice and quick. They also provide you with flavored water with was a really cool touch. It was an interesting flavor combo so I was really intrigued and delighted. Can’t wait to go back to this little hidden gem in Pleasanton.

Breakfast Sammie and a cappuccino please! I don’t think it matters me giving this place 5 stars cause the line and all the seats taken at every hour or day of the week speaks for itself. Since my bf and I have discovered this place almost a year ago, we have seen the tremendous increase in business and couldn’t be happier for them. Never had to waited for a table until last Saturday! But no matter how busy, exceptional service and always sweet to greet us. FYI– There may be a lil wait for food if the place is busy tho. Our usuals are:(love the food presentation btw) Breakfast Sammie-simple breakfast sandwich but always done just right especially with the thick bacon. Yum! Yogurt parfait-my partner always order this but I find the yogurt too tart. The portion and pile of fruits that they give with it are very generous Oatmeal– a pile of fruits and comes with a side of steamed milk. The oatmeal is slightly sweeten so just right for my taste. The perfect breakfast of champions! Cappuccino — for the most part, fairly good espresso. Not as smooth as my favorites but I’ll say the best in the area

Food is awesome. Lines are long, but move quickly. The coffee is excellent, the paninis are crispy, melty, and accoutrements are fresh. Highly recommend the turkey and pesto panini and chai tea latte. The outside seating area offers blankets for those who are cold, and it’s dog friendly! Service is attentive and friendly. I’ll definitely be back again! Thank you for an amazing lunch!
