Tony’s Racks and Boxes

Tony is stellar. Funny he and I have not actually spoken on the phone, yet I just finished mounting my new WB300 on my Q5 and it’s awesome. Not only was the process painless, it was expedient and he saved me a good amount of money, greater discount than even Amazon with prime.
I will definitely ping Tony when I look at getting a box for my roof or another rack for another car or anything pertaining to this type of item.

Found his business on craigslist… was a bit hesitating about it but decided to give it a try. I sent him an email and got a response within 10 min. He’s very knowledgeable and helped me clear some questions about parts I needed. Even offered to lent me one of his lock intallation keys at no extra charge. Prices didn’t take more than a few emails. After a PayPal transaction I got a receipt via email and received my yakima frontloader within 3 business days. Strongly recommend him. Won’t find a better price including ebay and amazon for brand new yakima products…

Have been casually in the market for a basket & hitch to make life a bit easier hauling bikes & stuff around.
Like many I was weighing the choice of new vs used scouring eBay, Amazon & Craigslist to comparison shop. Then I found a post from this outfit nearby & shot Tony an email (why not I thought, it’s free & the feedback looks good).
After a series of back & forth emails, Both landed @ the doorstep last Thursday. I put the Thule T916XT T2 hitch together & fastened to the rig. I got the opportunity to use it this past weekend & am super excited! The hitch is super easy to use & mount on & off the rig.
As for the Yakima LoadWarrior basket, I put the basket together Friday night with some help from Kona Brewing Company & I out of daylight to mount onto the roof so finished it up the next morning. I haven’t tossed anything into the basket but I think it’s going to look & function great!

I’ve been looking for a rack setup for my Montero, but despite the information available online it was all too confusing. I don’t even recall how I ended up finding Tony’s Racks & Boxes – which by the way was a great and catchy name. I read Tony’s Racks and I thought I was about to stumble upon an inappropriate website. Anyhow, I narrowed down the brands I wanted to go with and saw Tony’s had carried them. Of course there was a lot of competition on the net, but the CUSTOMER SERVICE Tony provided is what made me go with him. However, that is not to say the prices were competitive. The prices certainly was, coupled with the great service it was a win win situation.
Tony had educated me about cross bars, and roof racks, and that they were not the same, and you needed one to have the other, and all this mumbo jumbo. Since my Mitsubish Montero already had a stock ROOF RACK, what I needed was CROSS BARS to go with them in order to get the equipment I wanted to go with. I ended up with going with the brand THULE upon his recommendations. At first I thought I needed to buy multiple and different pieces to carry a storage bin, snowboard/​ski racks, and a bike rack, but Tony assured me once I got the correct crossbars everything would be simple after that. After I gave him my details and he picked out the cross bars i needed for them, I also added the aforementioned snowboard rack, a cargo box, and the bike racks. He gave me a great deal on the package and received them promptly.
Tony was so friendly it felt like I’ve known him for years talking to him. He even offered to buy me a drink if we ever cross paths.
Winter can’t come any sooner thanks to Tony’s Racks and Boxes!

i was getting ready for our summer outing and realized we needed more cargo space so i was shopping online and found Tony’s service. I was having issues so he offered to help me at a local spot. i think that’s more than he bargained for… so he was able to provide me with exactly what i needed, at the right price and was on my way as a happy camper– get it? lol!
