I can’t imagine finding a better gyro. I’ve only had their«Original Gyro», but I think it’s fantastic. It’s huge, hot, and delicious.

Great food at at a reasonable price! Worth the drive to Plover. You have to wait a bit as your food is made fresh but the portions are huge and meat is hot off the spit.

We are regulars at On the Go Gyro. You have to wait longer than fat food, but the food has always been good. Usually get the regular gyros and a couple of sides. The couple that run the place are always very friendly and truly appreciative for your business.

The prospect of an affordable, drive-thru Gyro at a reasonable price was too good to resist when I learned about ‘On the Go’ Gyro. I took my daughter recently to give it a whirl. We ordered a gyro(w/fries and drink) for myself, a Greek Salad to share and bacon cheeseburger(w/fries and drink) for my daughter. The price tag was $ 21 for everything and we waiting 15 minutes at the window before receiving our order. I wish I could say that the food was worth the wait… but the gyro was cold, the salad was old(premade) and the burger was anything special. The styrofoam cups used by ‘On The Go’ didn’t seal well and ending up dripping. The styrofoam container use for the salad was pierced often while we ate with the fork, so it ended up dribbling Greek dressing on the table. I’m a bit sad that this place doesn’t offer a better-priced, better-tasting gyro. If you’re looking for a gyro in Plover and find yourself near ‘On the Go’ Gyro — keeping going a bit farther to the Paradise family restaurant — it’s just around the corner and offers a better Gyro for the same price — and, a much friendlier atmosphere. It also offers an outside dining deck that’s far superior to the al fresco dining area available at ‘On the Go’.
