OMG. Real Indian food in a tiny little town next to Interstate 40 in rural Arkansas. Who’d ever thunk it? Food pretty much made to your order so be prepared for a twenty to twenty-five minute wait. They have a very extensive menu with flavorful food. I’m no expert on Indian food so I can’t describe if their food is regional to particular areas of India. It is fresh, hot, and gooooooood. They also have fried catfish/shrimp/chicken dinners if one wishes. Prices for entrees start around $ 12 with appetizers starting at $ 4. The mild spicy level is spicy sweet, if that makes sense. The medium spicy is not hot, to me, but loaded with kicked up flavor. I haven’t had the hot spice level yet so that will require an update. The Naan, I had mine with garlic, is perfection. The tandoori mix grill is a good oder to taste the range of flavors and textures with various meats, fish and chicken. I haven’t tried their more traditional fried catfish, but the catfish on the tandoori platter was amazing. It was spicy, and succulent with a perfectly cooked texture. The fried catfish I observed others eating looked perfectly prepared. If one is traveling through Arkansas it’s an easy stop as its about fifty yards from the interstate with a lot of seating area. I am dumbfounded but happy. Their service is a bit awkward and not slick but the food truly compensates.
