This store is awsome. I got fitted for new running shoes. The staff watch me run and walk and looked at what type of corrective shoeing I needed. I love my new shoes and I will defiantly go back!

This place is great. I’m training for my first marathon and continue having a minor injury issue during my long distance runs(over 12 miles). I went to Bayside Runner and worked with Adam to resolve my problem. He put me on their treadmill and recorded my stride. After analyzing my gate he determined that I needed to be in a different shoe. He sized me up in and sent me off to train with my new gear. After heeding his advise, with mid foot strike method, and with my new Asics, I’ve since had no issues on those 12 – 15 mile jaunts. Thanks guys! I’ll see you in a few months for my new pair of running shoes!

I have some foot issues and decided I could use some help picking out the best exercising sneakers for me. Went here on a whim, after not getting much help at Marathon Sports. The owner ended up helping me. He couldn’t be nicer. I now have the most comfortable running sneakers ever! Couldn’t be happier with my purchase.

I love love love Bayside Runner. I’ve been shopping here since a few months after they opened. They helped me get into better shoes, which decreased a lot of the issues i was having running. The staff offers lots of helpful advice. I love seeing them at all the local runs, you can tell that Adam, the owner, really cares about plymouth’s running community. I love that they offer a running group, the community of that is great! I’ve had great luck with sizing/clothing that i need/want, and they easily ordered something for me the one time I wanted something that was unavailable! I highly recommend Bayside Runner to everyone!

Stopped in to get some fall running gear — small shop so not huge variety in the clothing dept. Sneaker dept did seem pretty extensive — a guy was getting evaluated while I was there; intrigued — seems to be a more detailed process that I’ve seen at other stores. Super-nice employees — checked in w/me and my friend to see if we needed help w/anything; didn’t push us out the door even though we ended up staying a few minutes past closing time(between trying things on /making purchases). Definitely plan to go back for more winter gear(haven’t gotten most of their stuff in yet — recommended coming back in November), and for new running shoes the next time I need them. A little pricey, but probably not any more than at other smaller athletic stores.

This place is great! They videotape you on a treadmill and then play it back so you can see for yourself how you walk. I was in the wrong shoe!(thanks to a fitting from Marathon Sports in Brookline) Adam put me in a less corrective shoe and I am happy with my first pair of Sauconys.

Adam rocks for opening this place! I was here the day before the Old Sandwich Road Race. They were a sponsor, so I figured I’d check in and give them a chance. I was very impressed. After talking with the owner(Adam) and his new employee(both were super friendly, and helpful), I was under the impression this was a staple of Plymouth. My mouth hit the floor when I found out he’s only been around since February. If i’m in the area, I will be stopping by, and so should you! Some highlights: the cheapest water belts I’ve seen, ever. Plus the one I wanted was on clearance with two extra waterbottles. $ 15 dry-wick store shirts, with the bad ass B logo on the front. He actually puts clearance shoes at the front of the store, rather than hiding them in the back. A small selection of very cool runner car magnets and bumper stickers. C got a pink Runner Girl magnet for her car. All of Adam’s running accomplishments displayed behind the register. You’ll know you’re getting good advice when you see what he’s been up to.

Hooray for Bayside Runner! Stopped in over the weekend to check it out. I’m new to distance running and wanted to try some«gu» and thought I would have to trek up to Marathon Sports in Norwell to stock up. Luckily, Bayside Runner has opened and stocks this stuff, as well as other running gear like belts to hold water bottles, etc. They also can assess your running needs on the store treadmill or outside to check your gait for overpronating, etc., so you are sure to get the right shoes. Something I’ve only seen at Marathon Sports. They carry Brooks, New Balance and others and as well as apparel, etc. The owner, Adam, was extremely helpful in picking out the stuff I’d need for my first half marathon and is a self-professed«track geek» and previously worked as a product consultant for Puma and a product manager for New Balance. Had already purchased new sneaks elsewhere prior to the store’s opening, but I’ll be sure to pick up my next pair here. There isn’t another specialty running store in the Plymouth area, and it is a welcome addition. It’s on Long Pond Road near the Shops at Five. Looking forward to the running club that is soon to start up.
