I went to Get in Shape for Women in 2015 I was so tired with being over weight. I joined for 9 months and it was very very expensive. I was put on a meal plan and exercise routine. I worked out 3 mornings a week. I lost some weight but had trouble following the plan. I had eaten wrong for so long that I needed the tools to make positive changes. Whenever I asked about my eating or making changes, I was told I needed to follow the blue print as it was written. I continued and was not loosing. I was shamed at the scale in front of other members. I was told I must have had a binge or I was not following the plan. I was following the plan, the plan was not working for me. It was not working for many. The trainers when I started were good. There was one trainer who stood above the rest. She was let go and the attitude in the club changed. They advertise promotions and don’t honor them. They push for longer membership commitments and in my option push people away. There were nutrition meetings with members who had success with the program. They were very nice but we’re not licensed nutritionist. If they hired a staff with experience in nutrition and psychology this place could help a lot of people. I was very disappointed.

The perfect combination of exercise(weight training and cardio) and nutritional counseling. The trainers at this facility are excellent. They are dedicated to ensuring the success of all the women; they are warm, friendly and encouraging, but they make you work it! I’ve tried everything and am so glad to have finally found the program that works for me. I keep my appointments the same as I keep my doctor or dentist appointments and I look at the cost in relation to personal one on one training at a gym or even my co-pay for physical therapy and have come to the realization that its a good deal AND I’m worth it! Love it here!

I really like this place, I was at a point in my life where I was tired of getting in my own way. I like the concept of scheduling the time to work out. Being a «Type A» personality I am more apt to go when there is an obligation involved. The trainers are great, they have motivated me. I like the program structure and always feel like I have gotten a great work out. I think the nutritional counseling offered is spot on. The facility is immaculate. The trainers and owner truly care about you and make sure you are working towards your goal. If you back slide well, they are there to help you figure out what you can do to get back on the right track. After trying for years to get back in shape on my own and being frustrated when I couldn’t do it this place just fits the bill.
