They got great stuff here. The staffs are also very nice. I really like their garlic cheese bread. I think this is the first place I see that had thin and crispy garlic bread, and it was soooo good. Their deluxe pizza was also pretty good though a tad bit soggy in the middle. Well, I guess because they put fresh tomato and basil on there. The flavor was great, and the topping was pretty generous. It’s for sure a good place for great pizza.

This is one of my favorite lunch spots partially due to lack of options(main office in Golden Valley), and partially because it’s cheap and good. 90% of the time I’m at Joey Nova’s(or Joey Stone’s as I’m known to accidentally call it for some reason), I have a slice of pizza. The slices are huge and more than enough to fill me up. I usually order Sausage and Green Olive with red sauce, but sometimes I’ll mix it up with some chicken, broccoli and feta with white sauce. Either way, I’ve never been disappointed with my food here. The pizza here won’t be the slice that helps you find God, but it will definitely satisfy a craving. Also, if you really want to, you can easily get by on a $ 3 – 4 lunch here, which in my opinion kicks the food rating up a notch or two. I also give the green light on the garlic cheese bread. Swing out and try it. If you happen to drink the water from the big tank with the lemons/oranges in it, let me know if you think it tastes like rubber too.

Standard issue mid-west pizza. Anyone who says this is NYC or Brooklyn style has obviously never been there. Or maybe you ate at Sbarros when you were there. Soggy wings, awful pizza.

Typical pizza and sub place. We ate in the restaurant. Most business is probably take out. Prices are pretty good for what you get. What made this place stick out was friendly and attentive service. They made certain we were satisfied. It really was excellent. Everything from extra sauce on the side to getting a spoon to insisting we not clean up at all. Salad and pizza combo was good. Salad was fresh and a good size. Pizza is thin crust. It could use more sauce, but it was flavorful. Mine with pepperoni tasted like garlic.

Stopped in Thursday night. Ordered a pepperoni, sausage and bacon pizza. It was awesome! It was great sauce, great crust and great toppings. For some reason my nieces slice of cheese pizza took much longer to make than my large 3 topping pizza… I’m not sure why, but the staff were apologetic and kept checking on us, so it was ok. The water they serve is interesting… I’ve had lemon water. I’ve had orange water. I’ve had cucumber water. At Joey Nova’s they serve water with slices of lemon, orange and lime! An interesting flavor and I dug it. Next time I find myself over in the west burbs I’ll be sure to stop back in.

Yes, I know it’s vegetarian, but order the«Drag-it-tru-da-garden» pizza anyway –and make it a NY19″ while you’re at it! Ask for a pizza stand to give your table some plate and arm room, then enjoy. Coupons can probably still be found on the back of Cub Foods receipts and those local«Happenings» fundraiser books.

Having just moved from NJ(delicious food mecca) its been my quest to find a decent pizza. Everthing I have found thus far has either been cheese and ragu on a saltine cracker or your typical franchise pie. A few places around have a decent product ie punch, mesa in dinkytown, etc, but Joey Novas has the best attempt at an east coast pizza. Actually, they come within a fraction of nailing it, it’s that good. Their pastas and sandwiches are great as well, just as good as home. I went there with the family last week and ordered a little of everyhting just to see how they measured up… now I’m hooked. To top it all off, the hospitality is second to none. The owner came up to us at least 3 times to make sure we were doing ok and made us feel like we were guests in his home. You will not be dissapointed.

I was craving pizza one night and decided to order a delivery pizza from here. I was lazy, cranky and hungry, so I was more than annoyed when they took over an hour to deliver my pizza. They had promised 25 minutes for delivery time and they are only 5 minutes from my house. The pizza(deluxe) was really good, so I stopped pouting after a bite. But their tardiness left a bad taste in my mouth, so it’s going to be a while before I order from them again. Make sure to ask them how busy they are, so you can double the delivery time they promise you. Sincerely, Bitter Betty

Neither my bf nor I can say no to Joey Nova’s after a long day of work. The peeps who work here are stellar and always have a smile. We have them saved in our cell phone for take-out. Pathetic, I know, but laugh all you want: we’re the ones groaning in happiness at home while we’re watching the news and sorting through junk mail with our that first piece and a glass of wine. Seriously good.

This is seriously the BEST quickie restaurant around! They have the BEST pizza, pasta and grilled hoagies out of any where I’ve ever been! It’s total food orgasm here! My parents live close by, so every time I go see them, I am off to Joey Nova’s afterwards. Some times I make up excuses to go to their house, so then I have an excuse to be close to Joey’s! It’s a ridulous little game I play all in the name of awesome food!
