This store used to have the best meat section in a 4 county area until about 2 or 3 months ago. Meat is not so fresh anymore and its upsetting as I drove from Edenton to buy hamburger for the month for my deep freezer. They carried John Morrell bacon and Ballard sausage before too.

I’m used to small town PW’s — I’m not used to ones with such a sketchy vibe and non-​stop bleats over the intercom.
I admit it – we dropped off for new PW T-​shirts, and even though the selection was not that great, it was the crackly, honking PA calls and what seemed like non-​stop drama at the check-​outs — a two-​party check for cigs or some-​such horror — that convinced us to bag it and just keeping rolling.
Feel bad for the folks who depend on this joint for groceries.
