Like others have mentioned, this is not the main cider mill. Just a small store where you can purchase their cider, doughuts, pies, apples, jams, jellies, etc, etc., etc. I should have known and I should not have been shocked by the label that said«sweet cider», but the cider is SWEET. And all I have to say to that is, yuck. Not only was it really sweet, it had no character, no body. I might as well have gone to Meijer and bought a gallon of apple juice. That probably would have tasted better. I can’t contest to how good the the apples or doughuts were. I didn’t purchase any. I did pie a slice of pumpkin pie for $ 3 and it was pretty good. This location wasn’t as busy when I visited, which was nice, but given how much I disliked their cider, I wont’ be back.

On our first stop for the Unilocal cider mill crawl, we came here to see what they had to offer. Before we got here, we were told that their facility was partially shut down for the season already, but the shop was open for purchasing merchandise. When I entered, the place was cute and quaint. A cute bench was outside to sit and enjoy the scenery, plenty of small ticket items were for sale, and plenty of apples to choose from in the center of the store. Cider was well stocked in the cooler, and I really enjoyed walking through the place. I bought an individual packet of coffee here and the cider was tasty. Donuts were awesome, and you could pay by cash or card. Prices were fair and reasonable, and overall a very positive experience.

A secret for the locals, this little roadside stand has all of the cider mill products and less of the wait. Swing by and get some doughnuts all hot and fresh along with cold real cider. Not that pasteurized ick they try to tell you is real. Conveniently located on the edge of Plymouth, heading out to Ann Arbor, this is a great stop for quality cider. There are some picnic tables and plenty of food items to pick from but it is decidely less frills and adventures. It works for people like me though because it is super close to my parents house. It carries everything I need and it is not an all day extravaganza surrounded by endless families. I like kids and I like to act like a kid on occasion but sometimes I just want to pick up some cider or apples and skedaddle. This place is not without atmosphere, they have a nice woodstove and friendly employess and all the smells and happiness offered elsewhere. If you are nearby you gotta give it a whirl, it is a very short trek from Ann Arbor too.
