This place really went downhill. Staff seems like they don’t want to be there, limited selection, and higher prices. I also decided to stop going there because they ignored the application and interview of a young veteran. I understand that you can’t hire someone just because they’re a veteran, but he deserved a yes or no answer.

3 stars! Way to expensive for items I can get at stop and shop, shaws, etc. They exist to support the residence of Pine Hills. Like other reviews prices higher than whole foods, but not as good.

Great, local grocery store. Very convenient for those living in the Pinehills. It has ALMOST everything you would want to fill your pantry. They are somewhat limited in the selection of hygiene products(shampoo, soaps, toothpaste, etc.). But, it is great for daily necessities. The prepared foods, butcher shop, and bakery are all top notch. The staff are very friendly and helpful.

Love going here for the meat and seafood. I haven’t found anywhere better in the area for the best meat and seafood options, except maybe getting it fresh from the pier. Everyone I’ve interacted with was friendly enough, for working in a market. Prices are a bit higher, but you get what you pay for here. I usually don’t buy much else here besides the meat and seafood, because on normal day to day items the prices are too high and you can get them anywhere else.

I like this store. It carries as many«local» products(from the general region) as it can, which is cooler than supporting some non-regional company. The produce is always fresh. Their meat department is always very good. I don’t buy any seafood there because I’ve the connections for the freshest possible already, but it looks good. The deli usually is as confusing as an eight way intersection, as they have yet to get the«take a number» system down yet. The number board is lit up but they ask who’s next instead of calling out the next number, or they call a number and don’t change it to the next number for few times in a row. Basically it’s up to the customers to agree who was next when they ask. This happens every time I go. A bit annoying when it’s busy. The isles are smallish so extra awareness of your fellow shoppers is necessary. I don’t get the«up scale» description people use about here. It has more of a down to earth hometown feel to me. You won’t find everything under the sun there like a Super Stop & Shop has, but you will find a friendly atmosphere with local products and a lot more smiling people than your large corporate grocery store. As far as prices, I really don’t see much of a difference to make me shy away. Oh. and for an added positive … once you check out you can just take a left and wheel your cart into the connected liquor store without having to go outside. Bonus! Two in one stop shopping.

This market went out of their way to help my friend as she undergoes chemo. To me that shows a compassion that isn’t always present in today’s world. Thank you for doing business the right way!

Healthy, clean, expensive. Some things are more than WholeFoods which isn’t good. At least I know I’m getting quality, yummy food.

This is a medium-sized, upscale market located in the Pinehills golf-club area. It’s easily accessible from Route 3. But not so much from Route 3A. You might want to check out a map. If you take a wrong turn you might end up in horse farm country, up Old Sandwich Road. Some beautiful country roads and horse farms though. Just watch the speed limit, and the speed humps. There’s some private roads, so you probably want to stay away from those. The pizza is very cheesy, if you’re into that sort of pizza. They have a nice selection of Lake Champlain chocolates, and Simpson Spring soda.(The Simpson Spring soda is not refrigerated.) Some interesting baked goods and prepared foods. There’s an interesting section with some spices, sauces, and Italian groceries. Great cheese section.

Great medium sized grocer in Pine Hills of Plymouth, A tiny bit cramped but very well stocked with some higheer end brands, Butcher and seafood sections are absolutely top notch. Knowledgeable and courteous staff throughout. Prepared foods are nicely done. Dynamite cheese section. Store is very clean and welcoming. Free coffee. A minor quibble: The sushi counter seldom has anything out until late morning. And they put avocado on 80% of their offerings. But overall, I couldn’t be happier with this place and go at least twice per week.

I enjoy coming to the Market at Pinehills when I am in the area. There are many great products and they have a great deli and excellent cheese. This place would appeal to anyone who likes Trader Joe’s or Whole Foods. The Market can be pretty pricey but they seem to have high quality stuff and a very well maintained store.

Great place. Might be slightly more expensive shopping here, but not all that much. They always have fresh things. The produce is pretty good. The meat/seafood is the vintage over the counter ordering and has always been great and fresh. Spinwheel steaks are awesome. Deli has a lot of good stuff and hot meals throughout the day. Overall good place to go.

This cool little market is located inside the Pine Hills, exit 3 off Rt. 3. From exit to front door, maybe a half mile, so it’s a great place to stop off if you’re on your way south on Rt.3 and have no interest in cooking when you get home, or to your rental cottage. I’ve shopped there about a dozen times since they opened, and lately I find myself stopping on the way home more often. The staff is over the top friendly(who offers to carry your bags to the car? Seriously, you’ll haul my bags out to the car for me? Just — because? The prices are actually comparable and competitive with the big box grocery stores and the prepared food is really good, More than good — pretty great! It’s a slightly affected(look at me, I have lots of wood and rustic charm!) miniature grocery store with the emphasis on «the Pine Hills lifestyle» which means you can buy nearly anything that you’d find at Stop & Shop but you don’t want/need/care to drive to S&S. oh no — because what you’re going to do is stop and drool over the bakery(right inside the front door where it should be in a perfect world, right??) a nice produce department(also right inside the front door) with displays of perfect tomatoes, lettuces and veggies. Moving along to the TAKEOUT counter! Wait, I have to drool. Alright, I’m composed now. Pork roast with something fruity, crab cakes, rotisseried whole chickens, mac & cheese, clam fritters(try them, to die for) old fashioned macaroni salad with chopped sweet tomatoes, sliced marinated flank steak, teriyaki wings, meat loaf, BBQ pork — just the tip of the iceberg. YOU stand there while they slide the fresh chickens off the spit, all hot and sputtery and juicy and delicious looking and I DARE you to walk out without one. The counter staff is patient and will not roll their eyes while you debate the merits of whole chicken vs. wings. They care. Fresh, made to order sandwiches — Grilled Portabella w/Fresh Baby Spinach($ 6.99) Marinated and grilled Portabella mushrooms over a bed of baby spinach topped with Swiss cheese and aioli; The Bostonian($ 8.99) roasted beef, crumbled Bleu cheese, caramelized onions and horseradish spread; Pilgrim Parma($ 9.99) Prosciutto Di Parma, fresh Mozzarella, fresh basil, tomatoes and olive oil. .. sigh. . oh, how I miss you right now, Pilgrim. Those are just the ones I’ve tried, there’s about a dozen on the menu board, or they’ll pick up the Boar’s Head and go to town for you on fresh bread with any condiment available. Sushi — you little bites of heaven — these aren’t all going to replace what you’ll order at best sushi bar in town, but they come pretty damn close! I tried Unakyu Maki — grilled eel, avocado or cucumber($ 5.25)Shrimp Tempura Maki($ 8.95) crispy and mmmmm good! Chirashi($ 17.95) 10 pieces of fish of your choice !! My choice! You rock, Market sushi chef! And then I bought potato chips, some frozen dinners for lunch and a few cans of cat food. It was great, I was in and out in 20 minutes and that included the time my face was glued to the takeout counter glass while I picked out the perfect chicken for dinner and the veggies to go along. Oh, and while you stand at the tiny checkout counter and chit chat with the cashier, resist the bakery smell — you’ll be back for the chocolate chip cookies next time.
