Excellent service, honest and competitive prices. They will not oversell parts/service that’s not required. Time to complete repairs are timely.

Well had great luck with Trail’s Edge the first few times. This time was a little different. My bike snapped a hydraulic line and I took bike in on a Tues and they said it would be done Wed or Thursday at the latest. I had to call Thursday because I haven’t heard from anyone. They didn’t even look at the bike till I called Thursday and then they didn’t have the part they needed to fix my brake and said it would take 5 – 7 days to get the part. I had to take the bike somewhere else and told them I was coming to pick it up. When I went to pick it up it was still in the rack with the grab bar, grip, and brake off. I had to wait for them to reassemble the bike. With that said I still think the shop is good but them spending an extra 3 minutes checking to see if they had the part would of saved my 3 days on the unknown. All my service in the past there has been good. I will till use the shop and im hoping this was just a fluke incident.

After many years, I decided to start riding a bike again. My chain broke within the first 200 yards. Trail’s Edge helped me replace the chain and gave me some advice on riding and a new seat. I think they are the best bike service place in Plymouth.

Had to order some parts for my Jamis mountain bike and they were able to get them for me. Took a couple tries to get Jamis to prove the right parts but that was not Trail’s Edges fault. I ended up leaving my bike there if there was any questions on the parts. It took me awhile to find time to pick my bike and parts back up but they didn’t hassle about it(which was nice). Guys went out of their way to find me my $ 5 part and I am sure they got nothing in return.

Employee reeking of beer combined with a very messy shop area and store, makes me rate this place as FAIL. I was at there other location where they rented bikes they seemed to be all right. Though the rented bike had loose handle bars which slipped on me which was very disconcerting. I would use a different bike shop and not bother to return here.

Trails Edge is now located in Plymouth, MI232 N. Main Street ~ Plymouth, MI48170 with their updated website at This is the very best bike store in the area on repairs, bike advice and overall bike knowledge. I have taken several different types of bikes(recumbents, trikes, electric) and have had excellent service for many years. This should be your first stop if you need bike repair or are looking for new bike.
