The store is a WalMart store. OK? Unfortunately for the workers there, a disproportionate amount of the produce comes off the truck already bad, and they put it out for sale anyway. Management was clueless as to how to handle certain situations. It got so bad that one employee had to call the police to get their money back on a money order that was improperly created AT THAT STORE! They let a lot of things slide that they don’t want to deal with.

We were surprised to find a Super Wal-​mart here. We arrived late in the afternoon after a delay coming from Boston so it was too late to start on our Kanc loop. The weather was a bit chilly and cold so we just drove around for a couple hours hoping to catch some scenery. On our way back we stopped by Walmart to pick up a few toiletries. They carry produce, fruit, and meat as well so if you plan to do the White Mtns the following day and have access to a refrigerator/​cooler this would be a great spot to stock up.
