This place is legit! No sure why it doesn’t get better reviews. Great Reubens, homemade chips, and the breakfasts are outstanding. Amazing hollandaise sauce. Fast, friendly, straightforward service. And affordable!

Nice spot. Crowded on Saturday morning. Egg sandwich good, but hash with eggs looked much better. Service cheerful and quick. As a guy who used to own a restaurant, only dig is was old coffee, slightly burnt.

Just driving by and saw the Corner Café. Clean and bright inside, full of locals. More like a diner than a café. This was in October, so off-season on the cape. I just wanted a light breakfast, so I ordered one pancake, one egg and one sausage. Was worried I’d get charged ala carte for each, but she charged like it was a combo. Service was prompt and friendly — lots of refills on coffee. And the food was amazing. I’ve never seen such a huge but light and fluffy pancake. I mean it filled the whole plate and was ¾ inch thick! And delicious. My wife got the eggs benedict, which was also delicious. The total for the two of us was only $ 12 + tip. Awesome place. Can’t wait to go back.

Unfortunately this restaurant has gone downhill. My husband and I frequented it many times this summer and it was fine — maybe 3 starts. We went there today for lunch and it was a real disappointment. I ordered a cup of the soup of the day — chicken veggie. The stock still had fat in it — it had never been skimmed. The chicken in it was boiled to death — no flavor at all and tough. We had the turkey club ciabbata and it was also disappointing. Very bland and dry. Their potato salad had gone down hill also — this summer it was great. We wonder if they have a new chef?

If zero stars was an option it is what I would have given. This review was from my experience this morning. When we walked in the door with my family of five We was sat a a table for four, when i asked for a fifth chair I was ignored and needed to find it myself. The table we sat at was so close to the door it touched me when it opened so I asked to be moved. That should have been I sign to leave as it only went downhill. Then menu is fine but how about having an egg option on the kids menu, when you claim a bottomless cup of coffee, do not roll your eyes at your customer when they ask for a refill. When taking an order, do not walk away before you get the whole order and when you get called back to complete the order don’t give your customers an attitude. Lastly I am sorry I asked for a fork, I didn’t know silverware was to much to ask for.

We came back again during our short visit to the area because our whole family loved their food. We had French toast, skillet special, and pineapple upside down pancakes. That last one was to die for! Highly recommend!

This restaurant is definitly worth stopping in if you are headed to Falmouth or this particular area. They are so accommodating. Their breakfast and lunch is excellent, and that’s why the line is out the door!

I’m gonna start this review off by saying that the truth hurts. The food is decent, as told from recent patrons: Jfried: «I wasn’t blown away,» and Krose: «it definitely didn’t suck too hard,» and Kgoons: «The water wasn’t flowing in this restaurant, I was definitely dehydrated.» Our waitress, who was subpar at best, Diedre, did not once have the respect for us «kids» to check on us. My water cup was empty 75% of my experience at this«restaurant», I just want to make that clear. I left with a dry mouth and an empty wallet, just wanna clarify that. The prices just weren’t on par with the food, I just have to say that, and I think the prices should definitely be reevaluated if they would like this business to succeed in the future. Just a pointer to anyone thinking of coming to this establishment, there is in fact a McDonald’s right up the road where you will find me, and I can guarantee that your dining experience will be just as good, if not better, than if you had gone to that«café» on the corner. All in all, I will not be a returning patron

Excellent breakfast! Always a great slice of Quiche, and the doughnuts are fresh. I have never had a bad meal there

This place has some delicious food. Definitely worth a stop in if you’re hungry and looking for a good breakfast meal. Atmosphere was a little plain, but the wait staff were kind and efficient and the food came out quickly. It’s a little expensive for my tastes, but it’s a local business on Cape Cod, and the cost comes with the territory. Their skillets and omelets are delicious. My friend got the pancakes and said they too were very good.

My favorite sit down breakfast around. The food is always consistent and delicious. We go here ever Sunday morning. We like to go early to beat the rush. Anything on the menu is done right. They also have a bakery case filled with muffins and donuts that can be grilled to perfection. Their coffee hot and iced is great and you can take it with you. The waitstaff is awesome and very efficient. I go where I know so I typically order the same thing. After the third time, it is now«my regular» and don’t even have to order — they just know. Love it here.

Whether you are visiting the Bourne area, or if you are a local, The Corner Café is the BEST place to visit for breakfast or lunch any day of the week. Their breakfast and lunch specials are always delicious. Everything on the menu is excellent, but some of my favorites are the quiche, the breakfast scrambler and the pancakes. Kudos to the outstanding cooks and wait staff for the exceptional work and a special thanks to owner Helen for creating a charming neighborhood café.

My family has been going here for thirteen years, largely for breakfast, while vacationing in Pocasset and have always been delighted. Gone are the days of dinner and ice cream and cakes/pies, but the food remains excellent(I recommend the breakfast burritos or café combo) and the service is cordial, attentive, and extremely efficient. We go as tourists, including this past week, but it is a place filled with regulars where friendly conversations are overheard. We love the mural along a full side wall of the restaurant as well as the art work for sale. We all have our The Corner Café tee shirts as well. You cannot go wrong here!

The Corner Café is by far«THEBEST» hometown breakfast and lunch on both sides of the Bourne Bridge. The menu is expansive and the daily specials are creative with super fresh and quality ingredients. The wait staff(we love Dee) and the chef are very accommodating with any special request, if they have the ingredients they will make it your way. Everything is made homemade including muffins and donuts and there is always a huge assortment of fresh fruit. If you want the best breakfast or lunch within 25 miles of the bridges you have to try this place. After we found it by mistake last year I think we’ve eaten there 100 times and have never ever been disappointed.

When you travel to a less populated summer vacation/weekend type of spot, you typically don’t go nuts looking for the best spot in town. You ask what is close and good enough to stop my stomach from growling. It just so happened, The Corner Café, a diamond in the rough, was a five minute drive from the house we were staying at in Cape Cod. Mind you, I only had their breakfast, so I can hardly speak about what else they serve. But hot damn, I would be happy to have this as my go to breakfast joint in any town. I got the eggs Benedict and some bacon. It was out of this world good. The potatoes were done well. The coffee was free flowing and good. My wife got some blueberry pancake concoction and that too was real tasty. The vibe and service at this joint was real cool too. Great spot.

This place was packed on 4 of July. But we decided to wait and it was totally worth it. Delicious coffee, hot chocolate and breakfast! The pancakes were huge and soft. Their spinach feta cheese omelette on croissant was so delicious that I wiped my plate clean! Delicious lip smacking food at a very affordable price. The hostess was a very nice friendly lady who ordered coffee for the people waiting. Service was fast too. Highly recommend the corner café if you are in Bourne or Pocasset itself. Too bad big cities don’t have such charming local cafés offering fresh food.

Stopped here for breakfast quite a few times. Outstanding breakfast menu and great service. I highly recommend the Triple Bypass. It’s the most amazing heart attack breakfast sandwich I’ve ever eaten, and yet I’m still alive!

i tried this place for breakfast and it was packed on a Sunday morning! I had the skillet special– omlet with spinach avocado and cheddar cheese. yummy! it was delicious,. Very large dish, comes with hash brown or home fries. I finished every bit of it and was stuffed! All this for $ 6.99. Great deal! The staff was dressed in ordinary clothes which was a bit odd, t shirt and jeans, one girl even had a see thru shirt. I couldnt distinguish between the staff and customers. With that said, our waitress was great and food took about 10 minutes.
