Westmark Credit Union

Worst and most disappointing banking establishment I ever dealt with in this area so far my wife kinda likes it and few of her relatives bank there which is the only reason I have to tolerate their «services” .Maybe one day I can persuade them to move their accounts elsewhere.
Each time I deal with Westmark, unless I deposit/​withdraw cash is a nightmare. Starting back in 2011, when they refused to deposit a valid foreign check into an account (some people believe in life outside US and different currencies, but those are not employed by this establishment unfortunately). Bank of America had no such issues, just a delay to verify the check is valid.
One day I tried to deposit Western Union check and was denied service even after talking to the manager, and verified it was valid, their clerk was not advanced enough to establish it.
On a separate occasion I live 25 miles away and I needed some personal information on the account updated. Called their tellers, who reassured me I just need to stop by with valid ID and it could be done fast and easy. Imagine my feelings when their girl told me she can not do it and I have to see another girl and she also said she was unable to assist me with such a simple task and I had to talk to MANAGER, who told me, THAT NORMALLY TO UPDATE MY INFO I WOULD HAVE TO GO TOGETHER WITH MY WIFE, WHO OPENED AN ACCOUNT WE WOULD HAVE TO GO ALL THE WAY TO BLACKFOOT, WHERE SHE OPENED AN ACCOUNT INITIALLY 15 YEARS AGO. Seeing my frustration she finally kindly agreed to help right away, but OMG what a time waste and an experience.
They also love to celebrate beyond reasonable. Labor day they start celebrating and closing their Credit Union Friday before the actual holiday.
Last time I had to call them was when they sent us the check book with wrong name spelling.
Avoid at all cost if possible.
