Went there last night(NYE), and it was a wonderful experience! Fixed menu was affordable and the service was very nice! Filet Mignon cooked to perfection! Red velvet cake was delicious! Definitely plan on going back in the near future!

Was at Split Rock for a week and drove by on way to Mt Airy casino. Said«superb food» and it was. Had the filet and it melted in my mouth. My wife had Caesars salad with shrimp and it had a lot of good size shrimp. Service was excellent. Definitely recommend!

Not San Francisco not New York. Not New Orleans, just a comfortable place down 940 from our Pocono camp. Love the service, love the staff, comfortable wine list. Love the soup and the menu. When you can feed 12 members of your family 3 courses, drinks, and 3 different wines for under $ 250. This is a favorite!!!,

I only reason this review got one star was for the French onion soup, which is delicious… BUT everything about this restaurant was just gross. Not only was the floor and table dirty, but so were some of the utensils and cups brought to our table. Our waitress was not attentive at all and ignored us for the majority of the time. I ordered the shrimp scampi, which was way overdone and chewy and the veggies had a lot to be desired. The chicken parm my mother ordered was soggy and not very warm, she barely touched it. The place has definitely gone downhill over the past few years and I would not go back.

Meh is about the only way I can describe this place. «OMFGTHATISSOMUCHMEDIOCREFOOD» would also work, but it just doesn’t roll off the tongue. The first sign of danger was when I rested my hands on the table and felt something sticky. Damn it. I had to get up and wash my hands again. The next sign of danger was when my wife asked what wine was available by the glass and the server had to hunt down the wine list. When I say«THE» wine list, I mean«THE» in the singular sense. Perhaps I should have said, «The Establishment’s Only Wine List». When this wine list was finally recovered(from another table), it was a lovely little 4×8 inch laminated beauty splattered with dried tomato sauce. Hot damn, what could be next? The food was unremarkable other than that the portion size could have fed at least 3 or 4 people. I am not kidding. My wife’s chicken parmesan featured a good pound of pasta, and a gigantic Chernobyl chicken breast which tasted boiled/baked(zero seasoning). The crock of soup beforehand was a nice touch, although the soup was incredibly salty. The only real highlight was the friendliness of the staff. Well done there, honestly. Bottom line: Meh

Had dinner last night, party of 4 and the service was excellent. Dinner includes soup and fresh baked bread. the salad was served Chilled with choice of dressing followed by our entrée which were 12oz prime rib and one of the specials which was a stuffed Maine Lobster. All included choice of potato and a vegetable. Just a great Meal. The server did offer a selection of desserts but we were all Taking doggy bags home, no room.
