Of the two gas stations in Pointblank, Tx (spelled as one word according to the Post Office, today
) this is certainly the better of the two to stop at if you need gas. The store appears to have a restaurant called Texas Burger that can be found in other ahem, gas stations in this part of East Texas. Seems to be a very small chain run by what appears to be the same staff of the other county area gas stations. We did not try that.
Gas prices were the same as the Exxon across the street. We were hoping for better restrooms than the filthy ones across the street yet didn’t find much better than you might expect at one of the only two gas stations in Pointblank Texas. The mens toilet was actually leaking all over the floor and storage room. I am sure the employee restroom in the kitchen must be much better though, right?
Cool old style phone booth that still works. Coin operated. Don’t remember seeing one of these in quite a while… (See photos)
