Point Beach Motel

Once again had a wonderful stay here last Thursday and Friday. Lucked out with weather. Swam in clean heated pool. Had same super clean comfy room as last Sept. Could hear surf at night. So relaxing. Love Sundeck overlooking Boardwalk & ocean. Karen and Ed are always so friendly, hospitable and accommodating!!! Miss being there. Will be back!!!

My friends and I planned a girls weekend at this motel. Never stayed there before, but it got good reviews. The motel ended up having a fire only a few doors away from our room. WE WERE NEVER INFORMED THAT ANYTHING EVEN HAPPENED! I was disgusted by their lack of safety towards their guests. I spoke to the manager, Karen, and she was a complete «B» to me and said it was none of our concern. We were there when a fire occurred and no one mentioned anything. Not even a note on the door saying that they were sorry for the inconvenience and that we were safe. I will never stay at this hotel again.
On a side note, their beds are ancient and very uncomfortable. The bed completely sank when you sat on it. It rained while we were there, so the floors outside of the room were very slippery because of how they are painted.
It was a terrible experience and I warn anyone who considers staying there.

Very clean and the staff is friendly. Nice pool and great location. Microwave is extra and you need to ask for an iron and ironing board. We would definitely come here again.

Extremly clean and wonderful staff! Wonderful pool, clean bathrooms. They give you beach passes which is wonderful.

I’ve been staying at this hotel since I was 4 years old. (I’m now 25.) They have been around for years. My most recent stay was an overnight with a friend for a birthday celebration. The pool was just redone and is brand-​new & beautiful. Flat screen TVs have been installed in every room and there are a ton of channels on it. There is also a refrigerator in every room, which I love for keeping beach drinks chilled.
They give you free passes to the beach. The location is fantastic, no long walks with all your beach gear because it’s right across from the boardwalk & beach. The rooms have definitely gotten a little shody looking and run-​down over the years. They could use an update. Some new bedding, curtains, and boxsprings/​mattresses would do wonders but overall, they have decent room with some pretty good perks for the money.

We stayed for 2 nights and a wonderful time. The rooms were very clean for NJ shore standards and was pretty quiet at night. The location for the beach and boardwalk was great.

just got back from a one night stay at the point beach motel. we called a bunch of other nearby places: dunes motel, driftwood, windswept, etc… and every one was more expensive while being further away from the boardwalk. with most of them looking more ghetto as well. hotel was very clean, free wifi, had a nice sunning deck, a nice cheesy little pool, shower was on point as was the ac. all in all for the 63 we paid w tax it could not be beaten. free beach passes as well. the lady at the front desk said we’d like the place so much we wouldn’t want to stay anywhere else in point pleasant, and she was spot on! a good enough, clean enough, cheap enough place to stay at the point.
