So good! Vanilla peanut butter crunch is the best. Great floats and shakes too. Love coming here on sun evenings in the summer.

So many flavors to choose from! No matter what your in the mood for they most likely have what you’re looking for, from the classics to some funky creations! Some of my favorites are the key lime pie, devil dog, and the cupcake ice cream. The line tends to get backed up, but it moves fairly quickly. Service is always friendly and helpful!

I was very disappointed the last time i went to Sundaes. Don’t get me wrong there ice cream is amazing, but definitely not the staff. There was 4 employers working with a growing line in the store. Yet the employees found it more important to catch up with customers then decrease the size of the line. Ice cream is a quick sweet treat it shouldn’t take 30 minutes to get it!!!

Since the business owner is kind enough to respond to comments here, I(chose a middling 3 stars which I look forward to hopefully upgrading at some point and) want to ask if you are still not offering vegan options? Based upon your shop’s reputation, it’s disappointing that I – and others who choose not to or can’t consume dairy – can’t enjoy visiting it(And that I was forced to walk out the first time that I did). A simple almond milk chocolate would go a long way. As I noted in another review of a more famous but I’m to understand less outstanding quality-wise shop than yours – you have a choice to help to set the trend toward doing so – or not. It’s happening in the city and in local supermarkets. Cookman Creamery in Asbury offers 8 vegan flavors. Assuming it’s still the case, why not here?

We’ve always loved their ice cream. Today I asked if they could make an ice cream cake with a narwhal for my son’s birthday. The result was brilliant! Thanks for the best birthday cake!

So many flavors to choose from! The staff today was so friendly and she was so patient:’! It was my first time so I was asking if I can try some flavors since it wasn’t busy and she was so happy to assist me! She totally deserved it and tipped her! Thank you and you made my day

Always a pleasure to come here! Great fast service, lots of choices, always fresh and delicious! A favorite place for families to come to after a school performance, even on a cold night! They have delicious ice cream cakes in the case at all times, plus flying saucers and ice cream pops! We have never had a bad experience!

The flavor is just too sweet for me… Don’t get me wrong, this place is the real deal. They have some awesome flavors and the service is quick and friendly… But after 3 or 4 bites I just don’t enjoy it. This place gets a ton of 5 star reviews and rightfully so… This place is great. But I need to stack this up against the best ice cream I’ve ever had(check my reviews to see!)… And it’s just not as good. So with that being said… 4 stars all day.

BESTICECREAMONTHEPLANET!!! Sundaes is truly terrific. I’ve been coming here for over 30 years now, and although I no longer live in town, it’s still my favorite ice cream place. The ice cream is pure deliciousness, and the toppings are top notch(black cherry is my favorite, but even their sprinkles are yummy in the tummy). The lines can be long in the summer, but the friendly and efficient staff do a great job of limiting your wait time. If you’re ever in the Pt. Pleasant area, do yourself a favor and visit Sundaes. You will not be disappointed :)

I can’t quite put my finger on it… my younger son, who has little positive to say about much of anything, BEGS us to go here when we hit the Jersey Shore. The lines can be very long, but it you time it right, you can get served right away. That said, the staff is not your usual one-hand-in-the-pocket, lazy teens — they are refreshingly quick and efficient. Kudos to the owner for good hiring practices(and to the kids themselves). Lots of flavors and varieties, and a BIG, easy-to-read menu made life easier. Two flavors that caught my eye this past visit included Key Lime and Devil Dog. What would make it a full five stars would be a fountain or hose outside to clean the stickiness from hands before returning to the car. TIP: If you’re gonna spend more than $ 33.33 in a season, buy the $ 5 discount tag, which saves you 15% each visit.

My husband loves the mint chocolate chip. I am a lover of chocolate but the maple walnut is awesome. I love the ice cream log vanilla chocolate and maple walnut tastes like a sundae!

Another all time favorite! Sticking with my «favorite» streak here for reviews… as I dream of a cup of their Vanilla Peanut Butter Crunch ice cream… mmm! Been going here more than half my life and it is always good, nothing ever disappoints! They offer so many flavors, including seasonal and monthly ones too! Everything is fresh, homemade and oh so delicious! Their cake batter is another fave and the traditional cookies and cream is always a hit! I do love their ice cream cakes too! Plus, the staff is always pleasant which is nice. It is a must try!

I’ve been coming here as long as I can remember. As a kid I always did the soft serve vanilla with gummy bears but as an adult I know better — you don’t pass up the home made hard ice cream. The BEST ice cream I have EVER had without the slightest doubt is the Devil Dog ice cream from Sundaes. I hope they never get rid of it. They make their own version of Devil Dogs and the cream to put in it. It’s to die for! Other amazing favors: coconut, cotton candy, peanut butter crunch, and I’m sure all the others I haven’t tried are phenomenal too! They sell cakes, which I’ve never had. They are really expensive in my opinion. Only bad thing is that a lot of the employees can come off snobby. But then again, they deal with tourists all day. Also, the location is eh. It’s hard to turn left in or out of the parking lot and it’s directly across from Beaver Dam Park which smells like a swamp with low tide. Eat in your car or take it home. We’re always in the mood for Sundaes!

Found this on Unilocal when I wanted some ice cream while I was in town. Dark Side of the Moon was really tasty, as was the plain coffee ice cream. Two cones cost us a little under $ 7. Glad that they take debit cards, seeing as how most ice cream places are cash only. We enjoyed sitting on one of the benches outside. Service was friendly and fast.

Without a doubt, this is my go-to Ice Cream place. I’ve introduced several friends to this location, and just about every one of them agrees: it’s the best ice cream you can get locally. I’ve never had a flavor I disliked here, and everything is homemade on location. The coconut has coconut milk and chunks in it, the peanut butter has peanut butter in it, the cake batter has cake in it. You get the point, it’s downright well made. One of the most stunning things about this location is their ability to draw a crowd even in the crummiest of weather. I’ve driven past here in the dead of winter with snow on the ground at 7:45PM, and they’ll have the place packed to the doors with people. The other amazing thing is how they’re so speedy at *handling* all those people. I don’t think I’ve ever had to wait more than a few minutes to be served, even with huge lines. Seriously, great job on crowd control. They have a ticketing system for when the lines get REALLY out of hand, but rarely need it. The prices are average for an ice cream parlor, which in my opinion makes this a great bargain, since the quality of the product is so high. If you aren’t boring like me(I usually just get two scoops) and want a sundae, they’re generally huge, and there’s a ton of different toppings to choose from, including what I believe to be homemade whipped cream. I try not to eat ice cream too often, but on a hot summer day with a bunch of friends? Yeah, we always hit this place up. Top notch frozen treats.
