KWMR is West Marin in radio form. You get an eclectic mix of local folks, from old hippies to ranchers (who are sometimes one-​in-​the-​same!), and a lot of varied programming. Two frequencies, north and south, 89.7 in Bolinas and 90.5 in Point Reyes. I find that once I get over the hill into Fairfax that the signal fades entirely. :(

Kenwood, CA
Best 18 watt radio station in northern California. I can still receive this station on my car radio well into Santa Rosa on the 90.5 frequency. Amazing feat, is the transmitter antenna tower on top of Mt Tam?
Authentic shows hosted by real humans. Great variety of talk shows and music formats.

Bolinas, CA
KWMR is local community based radio in west marin. You can hear them on FM radio at 89.7 in Bolinas and 90.5 in Point Reyes. I change the station as I head North and the Bolinas signal fades, then I change it back as I head South and the signal fades.
This is what they mean when they say local community radio.
I also listen on the web when I’m out of range.
