This review is long overdue — I am so glad that I discovered Lynn at Smith Office Solutions through a friend a few years ago!
I always felt I was missing out when I used to «self prepare» with Turbo Tax and she knows much more than any H & R Block consultant I’ve ever used in the past and truly looks out for your best interest in every way possible.
She’s particularly savvy when it comes to special circumstances like rental property, self employment, etc.
I completely trust S.O.S. and will not go to anyone else… just like the «5 Stars» I’ve given them, they are «As good as it gets!»

I am in such better shape with my accounting in Quickbooks thanks to Lynn and Summer at Smith Office Solutions. They have tought me a lot about how to structure my QB’s data and I understand it so much better now.
I also use SOS for my Taxes and I am in much better shape now that I use them. Lynn has helped me through some mistakes (of mine) in the past that caused the IRS to give me too much attention! Thank you to SOS!

Can’t believe how unprofessional and emotionally driven the leadership in this organization is. SOS is EXPENSIVE and offers absolutely nothing more than you could do better for yourself using Turbo Tax.

Who looks forward to taxes? Well with Lynn and her staff I can honestly say I look forward to taxes! Lynn is knowledgeable with many years experience. It is more than that, though. Lynn is nurturing and non judgmental. I didn’t worry about how organized or disorganized I was, I just showed up and she served me well. Thanks to that attitude, I became more organized! Her daughter, Summer, is an excellent resource for Quickbooks. She came to my place of business and gave me an easy to understand tutorial. I feel so supported.

I was visiting Point Richmond and needed a few photocopies, and S.O.S. was suggested to me by the lady at the local post office. Several people were gabbing together in a nearby office, and then they finally noticed me. I just got the feeling my puny little purchase was hardly worth their time. Whether a customer is some huge corporation or just one small individual, everyone deserves respect as a paying customer.

I will never use Lynn and her staff again. The most unprofessional CPA I have ever experienced. She is highly emotional and acts off her emotions versus using business sense. Not what you want in a CPA. She dropped both my fiancé and I in the 11^th hour of tax season (2 days before taxes were due), claiming that we did not let her know we were going out of town. He had specifically driven documents over to her 2 nights before letting her know he was going out of his way to do that even though he was running late to a class that evening BECAUSE we were leaving town the next day. She acknowledged and then forgot just 2 days later and penalized us for her forgetfulness. Regardless, that isn’t a good reason to leave a good customer of 5 years stranded at the last minute.

lynn & her staff are great! she went over everything with me and i appreciate that, helped me understand this whole system a little more.

These guys rock. They have done all my printing and faxing for more than a year. Always on time and on the budget. Great service.

This is my second year using Smith Office Solutions for both my personal and corporate taxes. I have had numerous problems with tax preparers over the last several years, so it is with great pleasure that I can finally say, with a huge sigh of relief, that I am unbelievably happy with the service that I have been provided. I can’t recommend them highly enough. Several members of my family have used their services as well, and we have all recommended them to our friends.
