I have adult braces and was recently home for Christmas break(from FL). I made the mistake and ate curry when I arrived home which discolored my bands from clear to yellow/green. I called Dr. Bailey’s office on DEC22 and they got me in immediately the next day. They were gracious enough to change both my top and bottom bands when I really only needed the top completed. I was even more amazed when I asked how much the bill was and they responded, «Merry Christmas»(no charge). I have never been to Dr. Bailey but I was treated as if I was a lifetime patient. Thanks for the timely and great service!

One sentence review: Avoid at all costs. More sentences in some some type of structural order: Avoid Dr. Baily at all costs. Seriously. I went to Dr. Bailey a few years ago. I wish I had done my due diligence before I decided to let Dr. Bailey treat me with the Invisalign process, even all the signs were there that I should have went to a more experienced, more communicative and caring orthodontist. In my mid-20s, I need some orthodontic work, nothing too major, and looked around for Invisalign providers. I visited three other Invisalign providers before finding out Dr. Bailey, located in my then hometown, does Invisalign. I just missed that fact because he isn’t even listed as an official provider through Invisalign. After a quick, VERY quick consultation, I found the price to be about $ 1,500 cheaper than the other three estimates. I signed up and got the molds, x-rays, etc, in preparation for treatment. The next time I saw Dr. Bailey was to fit the first retainers. There was no consultation in between to discuss what I wished to get out of the process, what, cosmetically, I wanted to achieve, what I was currently having problems with, etc. Looking back, this should have been a huge indicator to attempt to get a refund at that time and stop treatment. What is odd about Dr. Bailey’s methods, which, in my opinion, says a lot about what Dr. Bailey thinks of his patients, is the way the office is configured. There are two private rooms, however, all of the other appointment chairs are lined up in a row, in a single room. A staff member would prepare you, he would come over, take a quick look, possibly do a quick adjustment, then give instructions to the staff. On many visits, there was literally no chance to address Dr. Bailey unless you specifically asked. Even then, I got the impression I was doing nothing but slowing down his process of quickly going from patient to patient and then disappearing. Its creepy. Sort of like a human assembly line. He’d come in, speak about the golf he’s been playing lately to his staff, then start moving down the assembly line as quickly as possible. Until the end of treatment, I was finally able to address him with some concerns after multiple attempts. Literally, after asking a question, he sanded away part of one of my teeth to re-shape it. The problem? He didn’t understand clearly what I wanted or what my concern was and did that procedure, thinking it would address what he thought was my concern. It didn’t. Ouch. Near the end, I attempted to address the same, multiple concerns. I didn’t get much of a response, other than being told there was nothing further he would do other than complete the original amount of retainers he originally planned through the Invisalign process. No adjustments through retainers(which is easily done through the process, I’ve since learned) or anything else. The few dentists and orthodontists I’ve visited since are genuinely surprised when I tell them I’ve already gone through Invisalign. I’m now looking either either starting treatment again for those last adjustments, getting cosmetic work done or finding a doctor who can make those minor adjustment without starting the process over. The staff is cordial and attentive, the rating does not reflect on the staff. Absolutely make sure to visit other orthodontists in the area regarding ANY type of treatment, especially Invisalign. Do not give Dr. Bailey any type of payment, as once the payment is given, he will not bother addressing any type of concerns you might have and refuses to work with you in regards to treatment.
