My dog of 13 years recently became quite ill. I called Mapleton And scheduled an appointment. They looked her over and said that they needed to do blood work to determine the next step to which I agreed. They said she had a high white blood cell count. Then gave her antibiotics. She was having seizures I might add. She had also not eaten in 5 days. She would not open her mouth to the medication. I tried calling and asked to speak to the Vet, which they said he was unavailable. The receptionist/assistant was extremely rude to me showing no compassion. Out of desperation, I called another Veterinarian to which I explained what was going on. They saw her immediately and determined without hesitation, that she was very ill, which I already knew. They were very helpful. Unfortunately, I lost my dog. She went through unnecessary pain due to Mapleton Veterinary Clinic. If you’re looking for a compassionate, knowledgeable office to bring your pet, I wouldn’t come here.
