Very good food. Friendly people very fast services too. We love that place when ever were up here we have breakfast there.

We’ve been there three times and have been very satisfied each time. The ham and cheese omelet is monstrous; I couldn’t finish it. The pancakes are likewise huge. My burger was off the grill and pretty basic, but tasted surprisingly good. Hey, this is Pollock Pines not the Ritz. C&Ts is a «Mom and Pop» place(small business) in the stix and in my humble opinion they do a good job. We’ll be back…

Ate there twice, once for breakfast and lunch. Food average, but the reason I gave it a one star is because the lady who waited on us never smiled, never said a word and was just down right unfriendly. She had the attitude of wishing she was somewhere else. Won’t return.

I took a family member here for a birthday breakfast. I’m from the SF Bay Area and was pleasantly surprised at how welcoming this place was. I had a vegetable omelet that was to die for. I’m going back with my daughter tomorrow before I head back home. I strongly recommend this place for some great food and atmosphere!

My husband and I were traveling with our 17 month old son, didn’t know the area and stumbled upon this restaurant. We were warmly welcomed by the small staff, allowed to sit where we like and immediately asked what we’d like to drink. It was obvious that this was a local favorite. My husband always gets the chicken fried steak and eggs wherever we go, and theirs was ranked in his top 3! My son and I shared a short stack, eggs and bacon. I think he beat me to most of it! The coffee was fantastic and always full! I have not one bad thing to say about this place. We felt at home here and will return when we visit Apple Hill again.

We were on our way home to L.A. from Lake Tahoe. We wanted breakfast and as diner aficionados we wanted something that would fit the bill. This place does it in spades! Great homey atmosphere. Great food and a good price. I look forward to stopping in the next time I’m in the area.

The food is good but the lady serving is so rude since the time we walked in she had sassy comments charged us for lemons and straws. It’s a good place to get food Togo I would never come come me again.

Food is always good. It’s definitely the sole reason we keep coming back. Only reason for the 4 stars is service is friendly but so slow!

Stopped here with friends, 10 of us. We all were so pleased with everything we ordered: chicken fried steak with great gravy, Spanish omelette was delicious, eggs Benedict was great, the potatoes(both hash browns and o’brien) were perfect. Nothing was greasy! Additionally, the place was very clean, the employees were very nice, and the bathrooms were clean. We will be coming back!

Good breakfast spot, or a sandwich lunch spot. Reasonable prices and nice waitresses. Recommended for basic breakfast.

Really friendly. Good solid rich american food. Eggs Benedict where an explosion on my mouth. The gravy had delicious Rosemary flavor. AND the bathroom was very clean. Overall, authentic dinner.

Nice little place that I used to frequent when I lived close by. They had great special deals for breakfast which steadily increased in price overtime… So then I stopped taking advantage of the deals and as a result, stopped going as often. The best part about this place is that instead of getting just a side of toast with a breakfast entrée, you can get a side of biscuits and gravy instead at no extra charge. Also, the chicken fried steak is homemade here and rather tasty. The coffee sucks though, but the waitresses are friendly for the most part. I’d definitely come back again for the chicken fried steak. However, there is a better breakfast place around the area offering similar prices for better quality that I would have to recommend over this place.

Good breakfast, good portions and everything tasted great. Friendly service. In a strip mall but still a decent view of trees thru the big windows. Only downside is this place was freezing cold at 10am in the morning — the servers were all wearing coats or heavy sweatshirts over their regular clothes. I went back to the car and ended up eating breakfast in my winter coat.

So I’m day 3 on being evacuated from my home due to King Fire. We grabbed a Starbucks and bought the firefighters all one too. Headed over to have breakfast here. Sat in front to finish our coffee and we were told to leave–«no outside food allowed». We told her we were just finishing and we were going to eat. She said you can’t be here and said she was going to get the manager. Really??? We left and will never return to a business who thinks that treating customers poorly especially during a time of stress is right thing to do! Good luck to them Karma hasn’t always been people’s friend

My husband and I had breakfast here, again. We had the biscuits and gravy and the waffles. Both were very good. The service was much better than our last visit. Comfortable little place. We will return.

‘Been a regular here for years… always appreciate the fresh, quality ingredients. Good bacon(although know they have a tendency to undercook it for my taste). Breakfasts are good, so is the BLT. While the ingredients are always consistent, some of the recipes are not great. Tuna melt was a disaster, and«eggs benedict» is not even close(without canadian bacon and real hollandaise — how could it be?). My fav is the turkey/avocado omelet. Update: I am dropping this place to two stars. Tired of the undercooked bacon and hash browns. I have learned to specify«crispy» when ordering to ensure I am not served translucent bacon and white hash browns sitting in a puddle of oil, but that means getting them overcooked half the time. Today was the last straw. An omelet with runny eggs in the middle, and burnt hash browns. Too many experiences here with improperly cooked food for me to return, especially when the new Sportsman(who can always get it right) is just a couple of miles down the road.
