Shingle Springs, CA
Love this place! The owners are so sweet and the employees as well. They are always smiling. I go shoot pool at least 3 times a week and practice shooting. Baileys and Hot Chocolate, and a little music, they have a room full of pool tables, and a arcade room for the kids with air hockey and a pool table as well. I have not bowled here yet but I look forward to it.

On our way back from Tahoe vacation, we stopped by on Tuesday (it is their $ 1 per game special day). Loved it! Will be back when skiing in Tahoe again.

Our family has been spending quality time at Knotty Pines Lanes in Pollock Pines for many years. We live in the Placerville area so it’s not too far of a drive for us. Since the kids were small enough to need the bumpers, until now when our granddaughter uses the bumpers, we all always really enjoy the bonding time we get while bowling. Knotty Pines is intimate, with only about twelve lanes, but we like being non-​crowded. Good drinks from the bar. Good snacks. Pleasant staff. FIVE STARS!!!

Knotty Pines Lanes is a little bowling alley in the middle of Pollock Pines, which is part of South Lake. Most people who bowl here are locals, and it’s fun to immerse yourself in their culture; it’s incredible how different life is up there! Good prices, video games, food, and plenty of beer. It’s something to do and you’ll feel like you’re home.
