Never have I been happy to drive out of my way just to get the positive attitude that the girls offer here. I was in Montclair running errands & decided to pick up a few supplies at the Montclair Cosmoprof. I walked out with only a few minutes in the store. The vibe I got was just not worth being there. I drove down Arrow highway a few miles out of my way, cutting it close to closing. I stocked up on all my supplies before closing & still got the warm conversation never feeling rushed to finish shopping so they could close. Pomona & West Covina store have been great in providing all my in store purchases.

I’ve had the worst customer experience at the Pomona Cosmoprof! Let me tell you why: I originally came in wanting to make an exchange on some products, but since they didn’t have it in stock, I requested for a refund on the 2 items instead. Melissa informed me that bc my total on the receipt is over $ 100, she would have to charge me a 10% restocking fee… seriously?! I have shopped at Cosmoprof and have done returns/exchanges and I’ve never, ever, everrrr heard of a restocking fee on anything other than equipment purchases! I demanded to see that ridiculous fee in writing which Melissa couldn’t provide for me, bc it DOESN’T EXIST! She then tells me that this is something that her manager Jackie, told her to do and bc they get returns from other stores(which I’m sure impacts their sales numbers!) and sales tax is different, they have to charge customers the fee … she obviously does not know that it’s the same whether it’s in Pasadena or Pomona. After I left that horrible store, I made a call to the corporate office and was informed that there is no such thing as a restocking fee and if you’re not happy with a product, as long as you have your receipt and it’s within 60 days, any store would be happy to take it back… but apparently not so at the Pomona location. I will gladly drive the distance and go to another store and experience great service rather than come here.

This is by far my favorite Cosmo Prof location. I’ve been to other Cosmo Prof locations as well as competitor stores but my experience wasn’t as pleasant. I mean, I got okay service but the girls in Pomona are willing to assist someone who looks like they need help. I am a male and these stores can be a little overwhelming. Huge thank you to Melissa, Liz and Erika!

LOVE going here! It’s so close to work and everyone there is always so nice. Today, I was looking for a particular nail polish and couldn’t find it. MELISSA was GREAT! She went out of her way to look over and over on the shelves, in the computer, and checked other stores to see if she can located one for me. THANKS Melissa!
