Dr Cundari has been my primary cary physician for over four years. I knew him beforehand, so as soon as they changed insurance at my place of work, I happily put him down as my PCP. This is what I tend to look for in a doctor: 1. they have to listen. I had a doctor whom I saw once. He didn’t listen, and he didn’t like the fact that I asked questions. 2. They can’t be egomaniacs:(see above). 3. They have to be willing to discuss treatment and treatment options with me. 4. They can’t just write me a prescription and expect me to be happy. 5. A good personality and sense of humour help. Dr. Cundari met all of these criteria. After the doctors I had had before him, the first of which didn’t want to explain himself, and the second of which I could never get in to see, it was nice to get into a doctor’s patient list who had these qualities. Personally, I recommend him or any doctor at Western University Medical Center, but Alan remains my favourite. I put that he is by appointment only, but that’s only sort of true, because if you really need to see the Dr. they usually work you in the schedule.
