Elite Dance Studios Inc

This dance studio was not worth it for me. At all. I had attended carlos’ group dance lessons for one month and I’m glad I did not sign a 1 or 2 year contract with him. He doesn’t know how to teach/​guide/​instruct much less build on what you know if you already know your basics for salsa and/​or bachata. I noticed Carlos would have slightly more advanced students teaching for him as he’d break us up into groups. I’m sorry but the random male student instructor he’d assign my group would know very little on a woman’s dancing position much less technique. On Friday’s when he held his «social dancing» he charged us an additional $ 5 at the door along with your potluck that he’d suggest you to bring (not to say that your monthly fee wasn’t enough). I personally did not like this dance studio however everyone’s experience is different.

As a current student for 2 years I can confidently say it has been a wonderful experience to be part of the Elite Dance Studio’s team… I came into the studio knowing only the basic step of salsa. Since then, I have gained the great knowledge and skills to dance salsa, bachata, Tango, swing and able to social dance. I even had the opportunity to dance at last year’s student dance showcase. Currently, training for the next student show case coming up soon.
Carlos is an amazing instructor who not only teaches us how to dance but incorporates the whole philosophy of dance and fitness through his experience as a professional boxer. He trusts and allows the more experienced students to be autonomous in leading and teaching the new comers.
The studio is very spacious and ideal for parties. Carlos does a great job of keeping everyone’s focus during the classes and maintains a clean, respectful, comfortable yet a fun family oriented environment.
Needless to say, Elite Dance Studios and Carlos have been a very positive addition to my life.
I highly recommend Elite Dance Studios for anyone who is wanting to learn to social dance. You don’t have to have a partner. Just come in with a positive attitude and willingness to learn and to have a good time.

If I could put 0 stars I would. This studio is a joke… Carlos should not be teaching a class. His choreography is old and outdated. His style of teaching SUCKS!!! Took one of his classes and would definitely not return. DO NOT ATTEND!!! WASATE OF TIME AND MONEY
