This place is great! I needed a new clutch in my BMW X5 and they did an awesome job.
Robin knows his stuff and trust me I pestered him with 100’s of questions. I will never go anywhere else and I urge everyone to go here whenever you need a new clutch or have transmission problems.

Robin at Foothill Transmission Specialists is top notch. He is a Certified Master Technician who is sharp, fair, friendly, and experienced. He has had his shop for 16 years. He has all the most modern equipment to both diagnose & repair any vehicle. His shop is clean and professional. He is in a nice, safe location with a wonderful view of the mountains. There are many places to eat & shop nearby. Robin offers courtesy rides to all his customers. He is very friendly and understanding. He treats all his customers like family.
My engine check light was on. I spoke to Robin on the phone. He asked me to stop by so he could scan it. I pulled in and he immediately hooked up his scanner to my vehicle & his laptop and started scanning. FYI — His scanner is very sophisticated, which allows him to detect a greater range of possible issues with your car.
He quickly found my problem. His price for the repair was very reasonable. All his work was guaranteed. When repair work was completed, he informed me that the car was working perfectly — no more engine check light & no shifting issues. He asked me to test drive my car before paying. I did and told him how pleased I was with the vehicle. He then asked me to sign paperwork and pay.
He trusted & respected me as a valued customer.
I strongly recommend Robin at Foothill Transmission Specialists for all your transmission needs. He is the best.

I have run across quite a few repair shops that I would never go back to but I will always take all of my vehicles back to Robin at Foothill Transmission when I suspect I have transmission issues. He doesn’t repair anything that doesn’t need repairing. His prices are extremely fair! I agree with the previous reviewer in that Robin is not only a great trans mechanic, he’s also a super nice guy. Carlos is nice too. There is a reason this shop is always busy!
