I have done my holiday portraits with shonny the past two years she is amazing! she’s incredibly patient with children she captures moments that you would have never seen or expected to see your kids allow you to capture.

Shonny did my daughter’s senior portrait session and the pictures turned out beautiful! She came to the house, picked her up and they drove to random locations to capture her beauty in a natural setting. The prices were great and the photos don’t look stiff and planned.

I took a Portrait Class with Shonny this past weekend and I really enjoyed it. It really opened my eyes to the capabilities of using my DSLR camera manually.
Pros:
+ I liked that we actaully took photos of models and got to practice the different aspects of the class.
+I also liked how she got with each student to help us to find the setting on the camera even for cameras she was not used to.
+got the basics of Apeture, Shutter-​speed, ISO, and composition
+Great personality and good hands on.
Improvments:
–I did wish we got a powerpoint or notes on the lesson to take home about the techniques we learned and would have been great to have had these to use to follow while she explained the lessons so we could take notes on it and question more what we didnt understand all the way. It was sweet that we got notebooks to take notes but probably cheaper for her and more useful for us to just get note page printout of a slideshow that was 3 – 6 pages to follow.
–maybe posed the models herself in the first few minutes of the practice session to give us good examples of how we can do it better, I think that would be a good add on.
