Vive Tequila Lounge and Nightclub

Nice crowd. bad service. Kinda like DTLA… I «tried» to plan a friend’s party only to get a «happy birthday» sign. it wasn’t a birthday :/​so embarrassing! … and I’m still wondering why the hostess sat us all the way in the back… thanks for not replying. Decided not to order more bottles like I had planned.

The bartender put ice in my palmagranet martini. It was never strained in a chilled martini glass. Just straight ice in my cup with some juice and a brown apple decoration. Ice does not go in the glass, its strained.

I had to update just because of how rude the bartender was!
I ordered a beer & an adiós. my friend forgot her card and I only wanted to use cash so I told him to take off the beer. He snapped «it’s already open.$ 16». He stood there with his hands on the bar.
So I said. Well I don’t want it? How much is the adiós? «It’s $ 16». Okay well that’s not going anywhere. he was very rude & aggressive. He refused to allow me to just pay for the adiós. I asked someone else to ask how much it was and he said $ 10. So he got $ 10 in cash with his rude self. Then all of a sudden he can throw the beer away all pissed off & grab the money off the counter. Really dude you don’t have to be so mean.
I know you don’t want to waste alcohol but I saw him at least three times spill an entire thing of alcohol as he poured it in a glass trying to look cool. Stop with the madness. Get your skills together.
The new décor is nice. I love the expansion. But the service is 100% the worst it’s ever been.

First and last time unless I come in a huge group. Place is 20 bucks at the entrance for one floor only (down stairs). 2 drinks 15 bucks not bad on that, the top entrance is a separate fee and not accessible from the downstairs lounge. 1 star because it’s too much for the entrance and not the bar is not the as operational as it is on the other floor… So pretty much it’s been $ 55 and I’m not even tipsy

Vive Lounge is my favorite nightclub in Pomona. I have been coming here for 4 years now. The layout is nice. The drinks are fairly priced; sometimes you can get complimentary drinks during a happy hour of sorts. The bouncers are legit. The bartenders are very nice and cool. There are nights (usually on Fridays) that are slow. I prefer now to go when there are big events. Ideal club for groups. I like the mature ambiance.
The first floor is a new nightclub called «Bar One», seems to be a reboot of what I encountered at Vive Lounge back in 2012 where they enforced: upscale attire, 25 & over, and popular music of Southern California during the 90s — i.e., Deep House, Latin House, Rock-​en-​espanol, 80s, cumbias, Hip Hop and what not.

terrible experience, constantly being harassed by bouncers, shit music, and 20 dollar cover for only 3 min of fun

I was actually very impress with this place! I totally loved it and would def go back again. I had gotten a hotel by Ontario because initially i was going to go to ESCAPE and didn’t end up going. So we came here for Halloween last night. Anyway point is I came to Unilocal search for cool spots in downtown Pomona and this place came up. The first review I read was a not so good. Someone complained about having to pay for entrance blah blah blah blah. in on of the review there was a number to text to get on he guest list and so that what i did. My friends and I got there before 10;30 and didn’t have to pay a dime to get in. The vibe was great, the DJ was very good. I loved the music they were playing the whole night. I didn’t pay for drinks the guys in my group did, so im not sure about the price but one thing i can say is the price might be worth it, drinks are strong.

I’ve been here 2 times n mostly the reason I dont come is cuz I don’t wanna pay 2 get in.
I think it’s absolutely dumb especially if u gotta pay 4 drinks that r most likely expensive how can u have a good time like that smh
Music is purti much what u hear on the radio so nothing new, the only reason I will ever go back is if my friends have a parti there where u get in 4 free lol other then that I’m hitting the bar

My first time here so I won’t judge it too badly. The drinks are way too expensive. $ 10 for a Jack & 7 and there’s more 7 than Jack. Yeah, no thanks. The music is weak. There was hardly people dancing and the girls that were were pretty much humping each other. Literally. The dudes were into it, so guys if you’re into that… there you go. The bouncer outside was super nice, though! He was so friendly. Maybe if I feel like shelling out $ 20 for weak music and weak drinks I’ll make my way back.

I like it. Good music, good looking girls, two floors, one for hip hop and the other for Spanish music.

Hmmm where do eye start? 10 bucks to get in. should of got 2 lil caesars pizza instead. Dj playing music from (that what I call music 2001) and only five secs from each song. Reminds me of a cartel money laundry place. Drunk girls being carried away at 11 pm. Not a good sign and bud lights 6 bucks; should of got 3 pizzas. Please for your sake just go to lil Caesars. 0 stars

For the crowd that remembers Club 740, Camachos, ibizas, QC’s, and Crazy Horse, you’ll love this place. They play Good music, (none of that EDC crap) and the crowd is popping.

Fuck this place I party in pomona all the time and this club is a joke they treat you like shit and don’t have any manners the bouncer act like they are all bad ass brotha you a bouncer watching a door. The management is a joke don’t have the balls to talk to you like a man there chimps have to try to flex. Music sucks ass and just all around bad business..

This place SUCKS!!! The people working here are rude and have a dress code that they only apply to certain people. They wouldn’t allow my husband or mu brother who were dressed just fine in but let people in tshirts and jeans… This is crap I’m never coming here again!!! If you want expensive drinks and have to wear a suit to get in hassle free come here if not STAY FAR AWAY!!!

Its a nice lounge to go to if you love banda i will say that the guys and plus sized females get treated rudely by the security at the door its sad. The drinks here are expensive but actually good. I love the inside its really nice and truly holds to its upscale vibe. Would be great if they could post on their website dresscode though thats always been in question.

Came with my buddies on a Saturday night and the place was on fire. Lots of eye candy and the music was poppin!
My dudes and I got a table and our bottle service Girl Nicole was gorgeous and very nice as well as attentive to our requests. All the VIVE girls were SEXY!
I will be back soon for sure.

This place is garbage.
Music is all over the place, so random. Switch from Hip Hop to Banda one song the the next. Door man are whack, rude and lack common sense. If you walk outside via the front door (only fresh air) after ten thirty, you will need to pay twenty bucks to get back in. The fee is not the issue HOWEVER if you left your purse inside with your friends, good luck. Not allowed to go get it even though they admittedly saw you walk out of the front door thirty-​three seconds prior.
Well that was my first and LAST time partying in Pomona. However that Green Room next door, people are nice, Oscar is a friendly bar tender. They pay hip hop of that’s your thing, it’s at least themed.

Whenever we wanna get away from home but not drive too far on a Saturday night, we always go to Vive…
The girls and I know, if we want to go somewhere where we are not gonna run into the same ppl, have good drinks, and dance all night, this is the place. We’ve never had a bad experience. The bartenders are always friendly. The drinks are always on point. If you want to get ratchet, go downstairs. If you wanna lounge and dance some salsa, rock en espanol and cumbias, stay upstairs. Both levels have always been good to me. I always leave Vive with the best memories, the girls and I can laugh for days talking all the fun we had. Thanks Vive!

Mix feelings, ok service is excellent the guy bartender at top floor is excellent/​caring and very profecional the girl smiles a lot and make us (girls feel comfortable)…the new DJ was awesome! Music with Celia Cruz/​Marc Anthony mix with pitbull and iggy azalea the best! So ok we went to the under ground lots of gang looking guys but they were very cool not drama or fights :), came back upstairs a group of 6 girls holy mole we brought all the guys from down stairs jijijiji!!! We had such a great time! So the 4 stars –1 is for the gang crowd ((sorry vive :(,))
