I have termites in my condo and companies can only treat not tent. After having one of the large national chains service my place for two years. I was frustrated because after two years they were still present. I saw the reviews on Amazon and called Don whom I believe is the owner. I told him my circumstances and he shared with me that the larger companies don’t take the time to do things right. He assured me that he could solve my problem. He came out to my place and looked around and said this was a two day project and the fee would be approx. $ 2800.00 significantly more than the large chains or the $ 200 annual contract I had. In an effort to make sure I did possible in my power to end the problem I moved everything. Literally I pulled the dishwasher, refrigerator and even the two level wine cooler out. I emptied all my cabinets and drawers. I even emptied my closets. It was it huge project but I was committed to solving my problem. When Don arrived he commented in all his years doing pest control he had never seen a client go to the lengths I had to make their treatment effective. I had cleared off two days and spent the first day assisting them moving anything that remotely would require assistance. At about 4pm Don got a call from his grandson who had an accident that required a trip to the Dentist. He told his two helpers to wrap it up. I thought ok tomorrow will be a little longer than I thought but asked him what time to expect him. He said«we’re finished» and I said what about the closets and all the built-ins? He replied they don’t need it we are done. I was pretty surprised and disappointed because I had seen evidence in the closet but I didn’t know if it was old our new. I took his word because he was the professional and had inspected. Approx. one month later there was evidence of infestation around the wine cooler again. Moving this refrigeration is a two person project and requires removing trim pieces(which took time to even figure out) plus removing specific drawers(requiring a manual) to access the screws and wires to pull the unit out. The only consolation is the second time it’s easier. Instead of using chemicals they used a blow dryer to heat the wood to 140 degrees. I ask them why and they said in order not drill holes in the wood. This didn’t make sense because this was interior cabinet plywood spray– painted black that nobody could see. If was not the finish wood of my cabinets. After a few weeks the termites were again evident. Since I still had a contract with the big chain company I originally used I called them out. Now on the third time moving this cooler I was a pro but I scratched the marble floor. The good news is it has been two months with no activity. I called Don about a month ago twice during one week with no return call. Two weeks ago I got a call from a women in the office and I told her I wanted to speak with Don directly. I said he had done a job for me but did not specify the nature of my call. To date he has not returned my call. My warranty is up in January and I won’t be signing up for his annual contract. I would not recommend using this company. For privacy I have not used my real last name but for Don, look to your January jobs and first name and I’m sure you can surmise who I am. Remember I am that«only» client to ever empty their place. Or how about returning my phone calls?
