Food is consistently good, varied menu and relaxed atmosphere. There is seating outside and seems like a local crowd. Good value for your $$$$.

One of the best places around. My wife gets the gordo and I get a scrimp wrap. We tell everyone about this place. The staff are superior to any place we have been. Not to many places where the owner will always come out and greet us. Keep up the good work.

I had this place bookmarked for a while and finally made it over there for lunch. It was a weekday, so I couldn’t take advantage of all of the microbrews they have on the menu. From the outside it doesn’t look like the nicest place, but once inside it is pretty nice. There are plenty of indoor and outdoor tables. There are several different items on the menu, but I decided to stick with a burger, since the place is called Burgers & Suds. It is difficult to choose a burger, because all of them have cool names and interesting ingredients. I felt in a spicy mood, so went for the El Chapo which had fried jalapenos and peperjack cheese. The burger was cooked and seasoned perfectly with very flavorful toppings. Honestly, the burger was excellent. Rather than doing fries I did the homemade Mac & Cheese. It was very rich with a thick thick sauce. The serving size looked small, but it was just the right amount. I was there yesterday, and I feel like I want to go back there today and try another burger and maybe some fries. Oh, the waitress was great. Super nice, informed, familiar with menu and great personality.

Awesome place to go on a Friday night, the bar was hopping but not packed, people were friendly and sports were on the TVs. Stopped in for a cheeseburger and some drinks with a friend for the first time yesterday. The menu is impressive, with many different varieties of artisanal cheeseburgers, among other tasty looking things. The place offers a wide variety of beer as well. Our waitress was friendly and my cheeseburger with sweet potato fries was delicious.

so the one star is for service, first time here, ordered ray’s rodeo, asked for well done burger, got a charred meat on one side I had to peal I was so hungry did not send it back to the kitchen but left the pealed layer on the plate hoping anyone who cares see it, also, coke machine was total sham my diet coke was clear color no taste(was not charged for it) there is a potential for great flavor but for $ 10-$ 12 a burger this should never have been served !

Good food and great service. I had the smuggler and it was pretty good. The bartenders are very friendly. It was my first time there, but the bartenders seemed to know everyone sitting at the bar for lunch well.

It’s a dive bar. About a dozen beer on tap, and some interesting items on the menu. Staff is friendly, but I could tell that the bar tender pouring beer wasn’t too familiar with using the right glassware for different craft beers. He(or she) poured an IPA into a specialty glass meant for witbiers and the like. I ended up ordering the Smuggler burger. It was good, but didn’t wow me. Fries were pretty good. Decent place and I’m glad I tried it, but I won’t be coming back

This place was recommended to me and my fiancé. Went there and waited 40 min for our burgers when the place was empty. Finally, we got up and left. I’m sure the burgers are good but they don’t care about their clients.

Went here while in Ft Lauderdale for the day. We stayed at a Condo around the corner we found on Airbnb and the owners recommended this place. Doesn’t look like much from the outside, but don’t let that turn you away. Place was really friendly, had great beer selections, and the food was great! Small place with lots of TVs, so you can see one from anywhere. Prices were really reasonable and had some good specials too. Will definitely go back if we’re in the area again.

I had the untouchable burger with fries, burger was cooked well but they over load the lettuce, and this burger comes with pulled pork on it, to bad the pulled pork I’d Lyods store bought I was hoping for a small batch In store cooked. That would make the difference. Fries were a Lil over seasoned no so much for me but for the average person they would be. Overall decent meal I’m gonna try a different one next time maybe the Wilson

This place has some of the best burgers I have ever had! I have been here several times, and a couple times at the previous location and am finally getting around to a review. They have an excellent beer selection and many creative burgers(or just simple burgers if that isn’t your thing) made with fresh ingredients. I have tried a few of their burgers, but my favorite has been the smuggler. Ever since I have had it, I can’t order anything else! I typically just order the burger with the fries. I tried their onion rings once, but I don’t think they are even close to being as good as their fries. What makes this place even better is that they consistently deliver on my expectations of excellent food and service.

Been driving by here for a long time and wanting to stop in and try it. Close to the house so its convenient. Got there kind of after the lunch rush so not to many people in the dining room so I decided to sit at the bar. Since i was still working I skipped the suds and ordered a tea. Friendly bartender and most of the others seemed like regulars. I checked out the menu and while I was clearly there to try a burger, much to my surprise they have a pretty expansive menu chocked full of dishes. Salads, wraps, burgers, chicken, hotdogs, flatbreads and yep… even burritos! Lots of appetizers and sides plus a kids menu. Wheeew! I ordered the Prospect burger which is your basic burger topped with lettuce, tomato and onion. Several options for cheese, I went with cheddar. While I was waiting I looked around the place. Kind of divey but on the good side. Lots of tv’s around the bar to watch your favorite game or sporting event. High tops around the bar area and a whole separate dining area adjacent the bar for a quieter or family dining option. Burger came out with a side of fries. The fries were seasoned with something which I didn’t ask for or care for so I ate a few and left the rest. The burger was right on point! Cooked perfectly as I ordered and quite tasty, I enjoyed every bite. $ 11 and change plus tip I was on my way. Will definitely go back with wifey and try some other stuff. Great burger!

You already know you want a burger, but you may not be aware you also want bacon wrapped wings and maybe an order of impossibly crunchy fried pickle chips. Wash it down with sweet juicy strawberry basil lemonade. And for god’s sake you must– must have sweet potato fries. Hot, super crisp outside and feather light inside. Top them with a honey drizzle and cinnamon… All is right with the world. Ask for Jewelz, she will make sure you LOVE your meal!

The owner here is so hands in that not a single order leaves his kitchen without him ensuring true delicious perfection! I had the best cheese burger in all of Florida right here at Burgers and Suds. The get all their buns and breads from a real bakery and they use only the highest quality beef ! If you haven’t had the pleasure of eating here — you are missing out my friends! Try the loaded tater tots with your awesome burger…

I’ve finally made it back to Burgers & Suds now that they are in their new location(that took long enough). The new area is pretty hidden, but large, which is good for them. The décor is red all over with their wall décor being funny burger quotes, baseball scoreboards and lots of TVs that constantly feature sports. Our server was super friendly and they have a great summer special going on right now. For only $ 5.99 you can get a lot of different meals like a regular half pound burger or 6 wings and fries. I went outside my comfort zone and got the lamb burger. I just recently realized how good goat cheese is on a burger so I thought, why not? The temperature was perfect, and they like to get a nice char on the outside of the burger. They are very generous with their goat cheese and the tzatziki sauce was great. The bottom bun was sopping wet, and disintegrated in my hands(this was a huge turn off for me). The fries are perfectly seasoned and cooked. Overall, the meal was good but my lamb burger didn’t taste any different than a beef burger. Is it just me? Or should the lamb have tasted nothing like beef? So if you aren’t into sports bars, this won’t be your cup of tea(or mug of beer, lol). They have a lot of innovative burgers and sandwiches. I think anyone could find something they like here. Especially since all their burgers have the option of being beef, turkey, black bean or a chicken breast. My biggest complaint is the bottom buns being so wet, even my husbands was soggy.

Even craving a burger but didn’t want to travel far from home. everyone had something good to say so I called in a pick up order. I ordered the smuggler burger with onion rings and a strawberry basil lemonade. When I came into burgers and suds I was noticed and taken care of right away. And two other employees came up to me to make sure I was being taken care of. Super attentive. Lemonade is delicious !! Onion rings are huge but also tasty. And for the burger? Burger is gigantic so be hungry and it was perfect!. Everything a burger should be. I’m a maple lover so when I read it on the menu. I was already won over. Decent price too Definitely will be back. Thanks for the delicious dinner you guys!

I was a fan of food served up at Burger & Suds when they were located over on Commercial and happy to say even more of a fan of it now that they are located on McNab, particularly since the facilities are much nicer and the breads seemingly better, possible due to the fact that a bakery is located right next door. The secret to their good burgers here is simple enough. It’s a matter of freshness. The meats are not frozen, ground daily and the buns fresh baked daily as well. They have a good burger selection, about 18 choices, some of them rather unique in preparation along with a good assortment of beer and ale offerings, many of them being from custom or craft breweries. The establishment itself has been completely redone and remodeled from the days when it housed a Belgium/French restaurant. It now has a bright new interior, both a big bar and indoor dining area as well as a pleasant outdoor deck area. Though the bar area tends to be sports bar oriented with a lot of flat screens, rather noisy and loaded with the typicals of the beer guzzling crowd, I can’t knock it or detract any stars just because I don’t like it; that merely being a matter of personal preferences. During my recent visit I went for their lamb burger as so many burger places do not offer lamb as a choice. It came with a side of sweet potato fries and the burger itself with lettuce, onion, tomato, a Greek tzatziki sauce and goat cheese packed into a deliciously fresh baked bun. All in all, perfectly prepared. I’ve also had some of their other burgers such as their Escobar and Noriega, but at their prior Commercial location, had always pleased and would assume them to be the same here. The service I had was good and friendly and though it has been over a year and took place at their prior location was surprised that the owner recognized and greeted me.

This businesshas moved to this new location recently so I decided to go for the first time. It was a Sunday night close to 9pm and the place was still kinda busy, which is a good sign. It offers inside and out seating, and we decided to seat inside(larger parties should try outside for more spacious seating). Inside you will find booths and s good number of TVs with live sports and a good sized bar. Service is quick. Got the menu and ordered some beers. The variety of draft of tap is remarkable! All micro-brewery stuff, great quality. I tried the Wavemaker(American Amber Ale) and my wife tried the Charapa. Great, great choices! Burgers: I ordered the ½ Pound with Swiss and Fries. My wife order the Chucky. Food is amazing. Great burgers, excellent quality. Grilled to perfection. We will definitely become regulars!

The name explains it perfectly– not ostentatious, just simple and delicious, and that’s the way I prefer it. The menu is just the right size with, among other items, about 20 specialty burgers to choose from. They have indoor and outdoor seating so you’re set either way. The burgers: I had the Escobar, which is ground beef(perfect fat to meat ratio) with bleu cheese and hot sauce. Each time I come it is cooked to perfection(and never greasy). The buns are baked fresh daily at the French bakery next door– seriously, could you ask for better? The flavors are amazing, the servings pack your belly, and the fries are perfect(regular or sweet potato). I have a great visit every time, and the owner is an easy-going guy who wants to make sure every customer has a great experience(Curtis stopped by to chat and make sure everything was great and we appreciated that). I will be back and encourage many to do the same!

Where do I start… I’ve driven past this place at least a dozen times, but never even noticed it. This trip was prompted by some friends inviting us out for dinner and drinks while watching the FSU vs Oregon football game(let’s not talk anymore about that game…) Burgers & Suds is a neighborhood burger and drink spot. Nothing too fancy, but definitely a fun vibe. There are a few tables outside, but it happened to be raining so we we stuck inside. The menu has all your standards: burgers, bar appetizers, sandwiches, flatbreads, nachos, salads, etc. The group I went with go often and said everything on the menu is fantastic, but pointed out a few must-have burgers: The King Burger(Peanut butter, bacon and sliced banana) and Gordo Burger(Cheddar, bacon and Guava BBQ between two glazed donuts). I decided to «forget» my New Years resolution and went with the Gordo. The burger was cooked perfectly and sandwiched between two grilled glazed donuts. Yes — DONUTS! It sounds ridiculous and goes against nature, but it was absolutely amazing. For my side I chose sweet potato fries, which were nicely seasoned and drizzled with honey — another home run. For beverages… Nothing crazy. Although they have a good selection of draft craft beers, we went with buckets since they had a game-day special. I can’t wait to return and go for the more adventurous King Burger… Which apparently is a local favorite.

I hope we just came on an off night and this is not the norm for Burger & Suds. We took a seat at the bar and was immediately greeted by the owner. I told him we finally made it(since we had tried going to their previous location twice with no success). The bartender then came to ask what we would like to drink. They had a couple of beers on tap that I didn’t recognize so when I was offered a sample from the bartender I picked one to try. Not particular liking the beer we gave the sample glass back and ordered one we knew. The bartender then proceed to down the sample beer after us like a shot. Whoa… This place wasn’t only dirty from the bar to the silverware to the tap lines but it also looked much like a guys dorm room. The curtains hanging in the main windows were on the verge of falling and looked like black sheets. Plus, I could see the pictures were wiped with dirty towels and one of my beer glasses were cracked right where my lips go! Not the type of environment I want to be eating in. Now onto our meal which was the worse part of our experience. My husband ordered Ray’s Rodeo Burger medium rare with sweet potato fries. What came out was a stale bun, very well done cooked burger, and disappointment. The sweet potato fries come with a honey? drizzle which made them a bit too sweet for us. For me I ordered the California Club Sandwich with Mac n Cheese. The Mac n Cheese was passable and wasn’t bad for restaurant style macaroni but my sandwich was horrible. Again, stale bread, the pico it said comes on the sandwich was pretty much just raw onion, and the guacamole was barley even a smear. It was a very horrible, sad experience which I would assume is not the norm for this place since all the reviews I’ve read are great. On the plus side they do have great beer prices! We unfortunately will not be returning to see if it was just an «off» night.

Friendly owner and staff. This place is between Dixie and Federal highway. He told me we just missed the lunch rush(5pm Sunday) and mentioned that they had a wait time 2 ½ hours, wow happy I missed that! You seat yourself and we choose a nice booth seat. there ate also high top tables and a bar in the other room. They have several craft beers on tap, my guy ordered the Shock top and it came with an orange slice. Burgers are made to order can be Chicken or Turkey meat, and come with fries, a 1 $ up-charge for Onion Rings, Sweet Potato Fries, or Mac and cheese. I ordered the Smuggler Burger with Sweet Potato fries(11.95) drizzled with honey, my man good the Chuckie Burger with the seasoned fries(12.95). As we waited I saw quotes on the walls and clever signs and photos. I also saw a new feature it’s a modern juke box you can order song’s to the playlist from your phone and by visiting the website through the barcode. I heard Country music, the Spice Girls and Christina Aguilera to name a few. My Smuggler Burger came on a huge wheat looking bun, and was pretty dry and seemed to crumble. It had«hash browns» which were fries sauteed in oil with onions(not caramelized, just sauteed), a patty, cheese, ketchup, bacon, and a fried egg with maple syrup. The maple syrup was real and tasty throughout the burger. I enjoyed the char taste to my burger. I did order it medium rare, and it was closer to medium-well. My mans Chuckie Burger was huge one pounder of meat with some cheddar cheese(not generous cheese like other places), lettuce, tomato, red onion and bacon. I like the bacon here, it’s very crispy. The burger was medium rare and came out closer to well done. I never saw him as ketchup to his burger, and he told me he had to to make the burger more juicy. I tasted steak spice on his, again a nice char flavor to the meat. The fries are seasoned similar to Char hut. oops I forgot to mention the Unilocal check in discount, but it’s okay. So check in and remember to get a discount I’m sure it’s worth it. Friendly Hard working staff. Oh and there’s a burger not on the menu yet. The Challenger Burger– 3 grilled cheese sandwiches, between the patties and with fries for $ 14.95. The leading record is from a guy who ate it in 6 minutes and 45 seconds… he won a T-Shirt. I think I would try the Challenger.
