I have been in the store several times over the past few years. I like the fact that the store has different items which the big box stores don’t have, the specialty items that is, and the fact that they try to cater to people with beer on tap while you shop. The beer on tap is a unique and cool offering.
But, the prices are high and the staff is somewhat snobby. I understand the store is a specialty shop, but why gouge people on the price, never negotiate the price and as if their store is the best around. The experience left a bad taste in my mouth after talking with them about several items. In the end, I ordered the same items they stocked via the web from competitors and saved hundreds of $.
This goes to show that the ‘old school’ specialty store owners need to open their eyes to the new way of selling items and being competitive.
I give it 3 stars because it is an OK store to look around in, but 2 stars on their prices and sales practices.

This is «the place» for anyone into bbq’ing. Looking for a grill? They’ve got em in every shape size and configuration you can imagine. Big Green Eggs, Weber, charcoal, propane, small, large, portable or the gynormous outdoor cooking island. Accessories, sauces, spices, and anything BBQ, these guys have it. Need advice on how to cook your favorite food on the grill? These guys will tell you how to prepare and cook it so it comes out perfect. Just about any given Saturday you can pop in and sample something they’ve cooked up for the day and wash it down with a cold beer. How’s that for service? Oh yeah, did I mention they will also assemble and deliver locally all the grills they sell. Never pushy, just friendly helpful staff to help make your decision. If you’re into bbq’ing you owe it to yourself to stop in and experience what all they hype is about.

I bought a Big Green Egg from Dean and the gang years ago, and I’ve been happily egging ever since. They have all the tools you need, a great selection of wood chips and chunks for smoking, and best of all they have the knowledge to push you forward with your smoking and grilling. Hang out for a bit (free beer!) and chat with the guys and customers and learn new techniques and recipes.
A relaxed environment, just like a day BBQing with friends. And on Saturdays they smoke something in the Egg out front; call ahead to see what’s grilling. Free samples await you!

Great staff, Great place, great prices.
I went here looking for charcoal for my big green egg (small version) I ended leaving with a medium size egg, charcoal and much more. The price I got was amazing, the knowledge I got was priceless and the fun I have had has been timeless.
This location goes out of the way to make a customer feel great, so much that even when I had not been there in a couple months (to hot to work the egg) I went back after a roof fire mishap and my egg got burnt up, I needed to order a few replacement parts, the two they had in stock the owner just gave to me.
I will be back, I will continue to support them and I will tell you to do the same. Don’t go to a hardware store for your grilling needs, you wouldn’t go to a clothing store to have a tooth pulled so why not go to the store where the professionals are.
Thank you Culinary Concepts for being a store dedicated to one thing, and for being the best at that one thing. Also on a side note they cook on Saturdays so that is the day to stop by, grab a snack, and during the week when you are shopping they have beer and water and soda as well.
