It was my first time at this Dollar store. It’s a little larger then many of the dollar stores I’ve been to. The aisles are wider and the store seemed to be a little brighter. Most of the items for sale are the same as at other dollar stores. The one big difference is that there is a huge refrigerator and freezer covering the back wall. Not all dollar stores sell refrigerated food. I almost always buy something when I go to a dollar store. Even if it’s something I don’t need. This time I bought a Halloween door mat, kitchen sponges, and a box of crayons, because you never know when crayons will come in handy. I just can’t resist a bargain.

Everything is $ 1, this store is pretty large, and they offer a larger selection of merchandise than some of the other dollar stores I have been to. They also sell frozen items, so it’s not just canned or packed snack foods that you will find here, but also things like TV dinners. Dollar stores are great for stocking up on cleaning products and holiday décor. You can decorate your office space or home without barely spending any money, and the same goes for buying children’s toys and other gizmos. There was only one cashier ringing up but the store was not busy at the time, so it didn’t bother me. I just hope that when they do get busy, they have more personnel available to ring up customers, or I can see why some people would rather just go next door, to the Wal-Mart(not that their lines are any better though…).

Dollar Tree is low budget shoppers paradise with everything being just $ 1.00. It’s a rather good sized store stocked with all sorts of things from shampoo, cards, wrapping paper, soaps, cleaners, cooking and kitchen items, some canned and refrigerated foods along with a sundry of other items. Yes, there are definitely good bargains to be had at Dollar Tree, but suggest that when you go you go with some idea of knowing what you are looking for, be willing to read labels carefully and be somewhat of any educated consumer. I’ve found the staff friendly, somewhat helpful but not all that knowledgeable about the goods they carry but I really wouldn’t expect them to be. On the funny side, I got a real belly laugh when a young man stopped in and inquired of one of the more elderly employees about a «mouse.» He kindly responded that he didn’t think they carried any«mouse traps» or «mouse deterrents» but that he might try a nearby hardware store… of course you might know, the young man was looking for a computer mouse.

I love dollar trees. The fact that everything in there is $ 1 you can find some great things at value prices. I love it especially for reward toys/balloons for the kid. This locale is busy and does not have the kids toy selection of other stores, but the staff is really nice. My daughter loves picking out balloons there and it doesn’t break the bank!

At the end of the day, it’s the land of the dead, but at least they keep it clean.
