Capt Ken and Mate Dave were great! It was a rough day for fishing; Little success was reported by the entire fleet. But that didn’t stop the crew of Happy Snapper II from working their butts off, trying to find us some fish. Wicked current prevented bottom fishing for grouper, but the trawling lines eventually got us two fish on the boat. Ken worked tirelessly to find those fish. That guy really knows what he is doing. Dave was very attentive to our needs. My friends and I intend to make Happy Snapper a yearly tradition. Hint: ask for the location of the boat on the phone. The address listed on the website won’t help.

The Worst! 6 of us drove 40 miles for a fishing trip but when we arrived the boat was gone. As it turns out he must of got a better offer. So we were left on the dock. This charter is unreliable and untrustworthy. They take your credit card and take off! Completely low end… DONOT waste your time ! They should not be in business!

Let’s get this out of the way first… The website is truly awful. Ignore this. Nobody cares about a fishing website. I had a great time on Capt. Harold’s tour. He led a good tour, and is a very knowledgeable seaman. Jokes aside, he was good. We had a great plan. First go into shallower water and get some eating fish. Then, since the water was cold, look for sailfish and sharks. Sharks! And he was good to his word. We caught a Black Fin Tuna and a Mahi Mahi. He later gutted them, and I cooked them when I got home. They were decent, but not as super fresh awesome as I would have hoped. After that, we went out to deeper waters. This ended up being a problem though. The water was choppy, and half our boat got seasick, so we had to go home. Too bad, it would have been so cool to have reeled in the shark.
