Miami Subs

Hadn’t visited a Miami Subs in years so we were excited to find one. We loved the menu variety, something available for even the finickiest of eaters. I’m not so fond of the fries but my hotdog was good. The fish was pretty good for fast food.
I must say that the service is excellent which says a lot for fast food these days.

The service here is excellent. Everyone is eager to please. I notice some bad reviews here and they are over a year old. They must have picked up the ball since then.

Food is pretty bad. and this location is pretty trashy … a lot of bums and don’t trust the people making it. I’ll never go back

Unbelievably slow service.
And when we asked why we got indignant attitude. If you keep people waiting 30
minutes you should at least PRETEND
to be sorry. Even the manager have us lip.

I will never eat miami subs again. Once in a great while I’ll get a craving for one of their cheesesteak sandwiches or fish n chips platter. Last night was one of those nights. After work I stopped by the miami subs on sample road in pompano beach and I stood at the counter for a minute before the girl would serve me. It was all hatian people speaking creole to eachother and they seemed more engrossed in their conversation then in helping the customers. Finally she got around to me and I ordered the fish n chips platter. A few minutes later my food was ready so I went to sit down. I noticed I forgot to get a fork so I stood up and proceeded to walk back to the counter. Then all of a sudden, BOOM!!! I slipped and fell on the floor. I was so startled and embarassed at the same time. Of course the hatians behind the counter were still too busy talking to eachother to barely notice I fell. When I stood up I saw that the floor was wet by the rug. I informed the workers that the floor was wet. Then I went to sit down and eat my food. I took one bite of my archer treachers french fries and spit it out. The fries tasted really funny, like a dirty dish rag!!! I never had this happen before, this must have been a bad batch of fries or something.
To make matters worse I wake up this morning and my left knee is scrapped and sore from the fall. Their lucky I’m not one of these litigation happy people in florida that likes to sue people.
Never again!!! :-(

We had the chicken pita platter and some hot dogs with fries. The chicken pita was OK. Hot dogs are overpriced — too small portions for that money.
Would I go there again? Most likely yes, but not that soon.
