Ocean Grill – Beachcomber Resort

One of my breakfast/​brunch spots. Right at the edge of the sand but still covered from the sun. Such a gorgeous view. Never had a meal that disappointed. Service is sometimes slow but still very friendly staff. The Bloody Mary’s are delish! Usually get one with my food, but last time I stopped at the little poolside bar just for a couple. The bartender (wish I remembered his name) took a lot of pride in his Bloody Mary’s. He let us sample a few different mixes he was working on. It was great! Super friendly and had a couple of regulars sitting by us as well that made our little stop enjoyable.

You can’t beat the view. Food was average. Service was seriously lacking. Long wait for drinks, waiting for silverware after food arrived, having to ask for napkins, cream, more coffee, etc. they were not busy. Maybe it was an off day, but the staff seemed to lack the desire to be attentive.

Went for seafood but all that was on the lunch menu as entrees were fish tacos and a catch of the day. Ended up ordering every appetizer with seafood (4) and a soup thus spending a lot more than expected. Conch chowder was terrible –tasted like beef stew and the bits of conch were few. Ahi tuna and coconut shrimp were very good, though small. Calamari was just ok. Smoked fish dip was good but nothing special.

The only restaurant in Broward County where the tables are right on the sand! Loved it so much I came back the next day for breakfast! BTW the Lobster Omelet! Is Amazing! Everything I tried was delicious. Our server Talia was not only beautiful, but had the best personality and made this the best place I’ve eaten in a very long time! Definitely one of my go to spots! I have been back 3 times in the past 2 months!

My husband and I had an amazing dinner tonight. The food was wonderful, the atmosphere was in point, and Desmond our server, was funny and charming which added to the experience. The live music in the air, the ocean in the background and our feet in the sand… can’t wait to come back.

My family and I stayed at the Beachcomber Resort And enjoyed the convenience and the atmosphere of Ocean Grille. We had breakfast on the beach twice and dinner in the Tiki Hut. The food was spot on. Fresh and delicious. The service were very accommodating and attentive. The live music in the afternoon and during dinner created the perfect atmosphere. The landscaping around the restaurant is also very nice.

We came here based on the other reviews. The ambience is great; the place is on the beach but protected from the breeze. They had live entertainment and the service was correct. My burger was undercooked and they didn’t have the salad that attracted my wife but it is a Unilocal related menu issue as they had dropped their Vineyard salad in Sept. 2015. Mario was great and their fried bananas was a great dessert recommendation.

I ordered the blackened Mahi tacos. They are reasonably priced and are a great portion of fish. It came with a side of chips and salsa which were decent.
We were a little bummed to miss breakfast, so we will be back to give it a try soon. Love the atmosphere.

The food was good, the surroundings were wonderful, and the service was nothing less than excellent. Sharon, our server, took extraordinary good care of us, particularly our most demanding diner, who is two years old. If you are looking for a pleasant oceanside dining experience, this place fills the bill nicely.

We stayed at the hotel last year and eat at the restaurant almost every day. This year we rented a condo close by but took the grandkids or our neighbors back home to dinner here. You can’t beat the setting! The food was superb as always. Traveling from MD in January to get away from the 30″ snow storm we experienced this was just what we needed to start the vacation. The service is very attentive we had the same waiter we had last year. Can’t remember his name but he has the funky hair — he is lovely.

Fabulous! Breakfast we had the Belgium Style Waffle $ 8 with fresh cut Strawberries extra $ 2 and the All American Breakfast Plus $ 11 with 3 eggs, bacon, toast, cut potatoes for $ 11 worth the price. Since it was too cold to sit outdoors to eat we sat inside which was lovely because the area was surrounded by tropical plants and flowers just making it a perfect relaxing dining experience. Also, from our seats that were in the middle of the room we had a slight view of the ocean which was fine. Our server /​hostess was friendly and very accommodating… the coffee kept coming and was fresh and did not taste not bitter. We are definitely coming back here before leaving for home in a few weeks. Not sure how the lunch or diners are here but the breakfast was perfect.

While the food was pretty good and the service was only decent, you cannot beat the location! I will be back for nothing else but the beach-​side view and the Mahi Mahi sandwich.

Just had breakfast here. We got the salmon platter and it was on point. Assemble your own bagel and lox yum. Service is altitude slow but we’re right on the beach and the waitress was very nice. Can beat it for the price and location.

Lovely very casual place to enjoy breakfast, brunch and an amazing view of the beach. Definitely great to bring out of towners and show off our tropical life and beautiful beaches. Lots of food for the money and taste good too. Definitely would come back again. very laid back and not too fancy and elegant but stunning views and relaxing hammocks. Definitely will come again!

Great restaurant on the water. Good food. Good service. Eat outside it’s cool & comfortable. We all had the Cuban sandwich. Yum!

We were having a hard time finding a decent place for breakfast until I came across this restaurant on Unilocal.It obviously had good reviews and figured we should give it a shot.
Well, it lives up to all the good reviews!
I had eggs over easy with corned beef hash and they were delish! I know it’s a simple dish, but it was still great. My girlfriend had the Eggs Benedict. I’m sorry I didn’t order that. It was incredible! The hollandaise sauce was super tasty.
I highly recommend this place for breakfast! And the view is beautiful!

The atmosphere cannot be beat the food is great wonderful oceanfront poolside dining.
We stopped here to eat even if we’re not staying at the hotel you must try it if you’re in town.
