When comparing to other storage centers online, Public Storage seems to have great prices and great specials. But it’s all a scam. Once you arrive they casually mention that even though your first month is only $ 1, they’re adding on a $ 24 administration fee. On top of that you need to purchase a lock for another $ 20, and on top of THAT, you have to get an insurance plan for another $ 20 a month. By the time they’re done adding hidden fees, they are one of the pricier self storage options on the market.
