QQuest

Our company planned a team building event at QQuest and had a blast! We worked together to solve the puzzles along the way and finally escaped! We all had so much fun! We would highly recommend QQuest!

Went with a group of 10 for my wife’s birthday (she had mentioned interest in this place a while back, but neither of us knew much about it). It was a blast. We finished with 4 minutes to spare! Be ready to solve puzzles and find hidden rooms, only to solve more puzzles to finally escape! We already want to go back and check out the other games.

I’m an escape room junkie. I’ve done several before and this was one of my favorites! We did chainsaw bob room and it was great! The room decoration was on point and the clues were challenging, but not too outlandish. This room had 3 different sections and some of the puzzles were very creative. The room wasn’t too decorated so the clues were easy to find, but it took some thinking to put together. There were 8 of us and we were able to escape with 2 minutes to spare! We used about 3 – 4 clues. Will definitely be back again to complete room amnesia.
Parking is free in the front of the building and once you make a reservation they email you a code to get into the building. Once you’ve escaped (or not) you can sign on any of the wooden furniture in the room!

I STRONGLY recommend this place! We played Room Amensia, and everyone had an absolute blast! First of all, the staff was incredible. We were greeted by a very nice lady who got us really excited for the game and told us what to expect. The game was hard, but not impossible. We got stuck 3 times and just couldn’t advance without a clue. The staff was really helpful and gave you just enough info to get it yourself. We went over on time, so technically we weren’t successful. However they let us finish, and everyone is still talking about how fun it was. Some of the puzzle was so clever it just blew my mind. I can’t wait to go again and try the Chainsaw Bob room. I wish I remembered the name of the gorgeous staff member who helped us so I could call her out, but she was blonde and from Hungary and so amazing!

How awesome is QQuest? Awesome enough to get a group of friends to drive 45 minutes each way from North Palm Beach not once, but twice. Having completed both rooms, I can easily say that QQuest is one of the most fun and unique things there is to do in South Florida.
Each room is distinct, well designed and a lot of fun to solve. QQuest was my first panic/​escape room experience and I am very much looking forward to trying the four new rooms that they are opening in Fort Lauderdale as well:

This was a lot of fun! I don’t want to say too much and give anything away but if you’re into puzzles and solving stuff, this is a great interactive game. This place is located in an industrial area and looks kinda sketchy from the outside but the experience is worth it. Parking could be tough because they don’t have a parking lot and you have to find street parking.

I can’t believe I didn’t write a review for QQuest. I went there about eight months ago. My friend and fellow Unilocaler Sue B arranged an awesome event at QQuest. A total of eight of us were locked in a room called Amnesia. We were given an hour to figure out how to escape from the room. There were plenty of clues, but we had to find them. If we got hopelessly stuck we could call for help.
We started out pretty good. We all scattered around the room picking up everything, looking under and around the furniture, trying to find clues. I had a wonderful time playing prisoner and detective at the same time. I don’t want to give away any clues since the games are still going on. It was a lot harder then we thought it would be. I will say that I would probably still be locked up, eight months later, if I had to find my way out of that room by myself. Talk about feeling vulnerable.
Thank you Sue for putting this fun event together, and for including me. I had a great time.

Went a few weeks ago with a group of friends. We had been wanting to go for awhile but we could never get in. We did the amnesia room. It was fabulous! We had so much fun. It was super hard and we made it out with 30 seconds to spare!
My only complaint was that we were a group of 6 and were told we would be alone. A random, alone guy was placed with us. It was a little strange having him in there and he really didn’t contribute so didn’t take away from the overall fun. But a little weird.
I would love to go back and try the other room. I have recommended this place to so many people. The staff was also fabulous, nice and helpful.
Go! You won’t be disappointed!

This review is sad for me because as of now I can no longer go to Qquest because I’ve gone through all of the rooms, but that doesn’t mean I can’t tell you about how great this place is.
Ok, first thing– it’s in a random building that if you blink quickly you’ll miss so pay attention.
Parking– you can park in the 30 minute parking and be ok. Confirm with them though. We did and were fine. Also, on the weekends you can park in what I believe is a bank next door.
Inside you’ll see total chaos– names everywhere of all of the previous questers who have gone before you written on the walls. Once you complete your quest, you’ll write you’re name too.
You’ll notice a list of times to beat. Figure out how many are in your crew, what you’re doing (which you should know because you book online) and check out the time to beat.
To be noted: they offer drinks at a donation. The first time I was there they had beer, the second time they did not. Not sure if they had gotten rid of it or not.
Now, the rooms: Chainsaw Bob and Amnesia. In my personal opinion, amnesia is tougher. No spoilers here, but basically the idea of both rooms is to escape. You’ll be given a paper to read and must search, figure out, deduce, and whatever else possible to figure your way out.
What I love is that it’s not a physical activity l. It’s purely mental. If you like puzzles you’ll love this. It’s an hour long and personally I wish it were longer because it’s so much fun. You have the ability to ask for help but that adds to your overall time.
The staff here is absolutely wonderful and both times I’ve gone I have had an absolute blast. They love what they do and it truly shows. I wish I could go back, but the rooms themselves don’t change. They only change small aspects of it so this isn’t something you can do over and over again.
Pick your smartest friends (you and up to 9 other people) and go see if you can escape!

this is a great activity for the entire family or a team of 8 or more. We tagged on with a large family and I was amazed at how each of us used our special interests to solve the puzzles. It was very challenging though, so take some people who can think critically and think outside of the box. We used all the clues and still didn’t make it out but fun none the less.

Had a really great time! We booked the entire room (minimum 10 people for the whole room) for my husband’s 40^th birthday & we had a blast. From the moment you pull up in front of the nondescript, plain building, the the nerves start. Punch a code to get in, wait in the sitting room and after a brief talking to, off you go. I won’t ruin anything, but we chose the Chainsaw Bob experience and luckily made it out! This is a new experience that is well worth it.

My team won and escaped room Amnesia with 7 min 20 sec to spare and only used 1 clue! And in fact, one of the clues that was supposed to be found was missing from the room but we still made it out somehow!
We were a group of five all scrambling in the room. I don’t want to give away any spoilers, but be prepared to crawl! Good thing I wore jeans! It is definitely expected to be on the floor searching for things, some bending involved.
Tips:
— Think outside the box.
— Don’t go in with fear. Just do it.
— Make use of the pen they provide. Write out stuff if you need to.
— Touch every item. There’s always something that would stand out.

The Amnesia room was great! As an escape room enthusiast I definitely look for a lot of different elements when reviewing a room. This had pretty much all of them! They had some great and engaging clues that kept all of us on our toes the entire time. There was never a dull moment. I also LOVED that although you can ask for clues through a walkie talkie (which I normally hate), they take off 6 minutes from your time every time you do. I LOVE that they have repercussions for clue use — it makes the experience so much more thrilling.
All in all they had unique, interactive clues that really made this room great. I don’t want to give too much away — but I definitely think this is worth a try. These are a few of the things that would have made it a 5 star experience for me:
— Storyline. You find out the storyline once you’re in the room but I feel like if it had been explained a little better prior to entering, a few clues would have made more sense.
— Waiting room. So although you walk in to the establishment and see a really cool room filled with the signatures of people who have escaped, they don’t have a place to separate the groups. So when we were walking in, another room was just getting done with their room. And while we were being briefed on our room, their group was talking loudly about their experience. I just feel like maybe there should be a separation there to make the experience feel more isolated and reduce the risk of people spilling clues to new arrivals when they get out.
— Music. Some creepy music would have definitely made the pressure build more than it did. I found that the urgency level dropped for us sometimes. Especially towards the end.
But, I definitely think this is worth it! A really solid escape experience. (Oh, and we escaped. Yay.)

My boyfriend and I were turned onto this place by another couple friends of ours. It was bowling or play a room escape game. Heh, no-​brainer on that!
It was AWESOME!!! Myself nor my boyfriend have ever done anything like it. We played the game with an out of town family from New Jersey on vacation and they were a pure delight! The husband and wife with their two girls made our experience something to remember.
There are two different rooms/​scenarios to choose from when signing up. You MUST call and plan ahead. These people get booked quickly and easily. It’s 27 $ a person, which isn’t cheap, but it’s well worth the experience! The staff is very friendly. When you are done you get to sign something in the main room. And I mean ANYTHING. While waiting it’s fun to see what others have written.
The only down side to this, is when you do both scenarios/​rooms, the experience is pretty much over. There is nothing stopping you from coming back with different people multiple times, but try not to ruin it for those first timers.

Now, according to the QQuest website, the description for Room Amnesia is:
You ate that cafeteria sandwich someone gave you without hesitation. Unfortunately, they must have put something in it. Now you’re stuck locked in a strange room with no memory of how you got there, and a note saying that the police are searching for you!
I can’t get into the details of the game or talk about the clues. I wasn’t allowed to take pictures of the room. But I can say that you are given one hour to escape. Before entering the room you are given a walkie talkie if you need to request a clue or in our case, a few clues. We didn’t escape within the hour but we were allowed to stay a little longer so we could escape at some point. Okay, it took our group close to an hour and half!
A huge thank you to Julie R. who without a doubt was our star player. Without her, we probably would still be trying to escape. This game was mind boggling. We walked into this room as eight professional adults. I walked out feeling rather silly and hoping that if I ever am in a situation where I have to run from the police, Julie would come rescue me.
The price is a steal at $ 27. Granted, it is a one hour game but it’s intense and worth every dime. I highly recommend trying this with a group of friends or coworkers. Because you are forced to work together as a team, there is no anamosity or sticking with just one person. It’s definitely a group effort. Go into the game with an open mind and be ready for the challenge.
QQuest Escape is located on East Atlantic Blvd just East of 95 in Pompano Beach. I found parking right in front of the building. I can’t wait to go back to play the other room. Definitely a must try!

First, I have to thank Sue B. for introducing me to QQuest! At QQuest Room Escape you are locked in a room with friends and have to find your way out via clues, puzzles, etc. Why would anyone want to do that? Because you get to use your brain and it is fun! It is hard to write a review when you cannot describe much of what goes on at the event, so I will just give some advice:
1) Get to QQuest a little early. Relax and enjoy a complimentary beverage.
2) Keep an open mind!
3) Work as a team. You will not be able to do this alone!
4) if you get stuck and need a clue, ask. Don’t worry about the stigma of not being able to finish it on your own. You will have much more fun if you can complete the process, even with help.
5) Have patience… with yourself, your teammates, and the game!
6) Use your mind and think outside of the box!
At $ 27 per person, QQuest ia a great hour of entertainment! Now that I have completed the Amnesia Room, I am looking forward to the Chainsaw Bob room. I just wish QQuest had more rooms or changed the themes/​puzzles in the rooms every once in a while so you could go back more often!

Yesterday I woke up wanting to do something new. I came to Unilocal and actually looked up «fun things to do». This place came up. After looking through their amazing reviews & checking out their website, I quickly booked for 5pm.
Upon arriving, the area is a little sketch and something I would have never driven by and said «hey lets go in there». The puzzle begins from the front door which you can’t enter unless you have the code. Immediately I knew I was in for so much fun! Once you walk in, you feel like you have entered someone’s home with the wood panel walls and living room like waiting room. I won’t give away the place but come prepared to use your minds and lots of teamwork!
I am already looking to come back and try the other room! Love this place! Great concept & good for a party of 10 people max.

Awesome place!!! The company I work for decided to get the marketing and creative teams together for a team building event. They have two separate rooms, one being a «hangover» type escape (like the movie) and other being a murder scene. You have to find clues to open doors and locks in order to escape within an hour. There was about 24 of us so we split and did one room, then the other. Each team was a mix of departments.
We completed the first room (hangover) with a couple minutes to spare but did get some help from the guide via two way radio. The other team did the same. The second room we refused to get help and needed about two extra minutes before finding our way out. Our company takes about everything as a competition. Since the other team needed help in both rooms, in my book, we won!!! :)
Great experience and would recommend to and group or company. I’d say 12 people per room is the absolute max. It takes him about 30 minutes to put back together after you complete. Got to try it. I’m hoping he sets up another set of rooms so I can go back soon.

Today 6 of us tried to escape the Horror room… we were minutes away from doing so when the clock ran out. We were so close!
My manager, 4 co-​workers, and I didn’t know what to expect — which is a great way to go through this experience. After hearing the ground rules in the lobby, we were escorted to the Horror room.
Via two-​way radio, the Qquest guide helped us focus on completing critical steps in order to move on — and towards the end he suggested we split into groups to simultaneously solve puzzles needed for us to escape.
The only frustrating part was that he told us to do certain things that we had already done. There are cameras in the room but for whatever reason he wasn’t aware that we had already completed certain steps.
Even though we ran out of time, it was a valuable experience. We all returned to the lobby once we got out of the room and took a few minutes to talk about our experience.
This is why this is a GREAT team-​building activity:
We learned that we are all very flexible in putting the goal ahead of the personalities of the people we work with to get the job done.
It was a very organic experience — we formed work-​groups because together we had success using the clues and when we got stuck one or more would move towards working on another puzzle. We all kept moving along and forming/​re-​forming work groups. No one held onto working with one person or avoiding a person — we were focused on solving the puzzles. And we learned that we all work well together.
One of the people has fear issues. She had to make a decision to use a tool in a way that would render it useless. She froze up and then she asked our manager if it was ok to do so. She recognized that she asked permission (as she put it, «our manager’s sign off») before doing this. We are all professionals and work autonomously so it was striking to her that her fear caused her to ask permission. As a group we all told her to do it because the clock was ticking and the tool was useless to us if we did nothing with it, so we might as well have her use it. It turned out to be the right decision.
We all want to return and go to another room. We have a better idea about how to be successful and escape — we can’t wait to do it again!

It all begins with George! When you enter, you will most likely be greeted by George, the gracious, friendly Quest host. We didn’t book our spot on line ahead of time, but he was able to accommodate our visit due to a cancellation. Since there were only two of us going through the Horror room, he was able to quickly modify some of the game for only two players. Up to ten can play in one room at a time, making it great for families, dates and team building/​corporate events.
Prior to going in, he asked how many lifelines we’d like to use. We selected a number and used all but one. He was able to give us a clue based on where we were and what we had already found. I can’t give any details or spoiler alerts, but you will have such a great time! It was exhilarating and there were thrills around every corner!
Well designed and executed. While still in town, I am scheduled for my second visit just before heading to the airport! It’s a must-​see attraction.
