Ronny-Dee Resort Motel

Sadly, this relic of a motel, open since the 1950’s, has been sold to a corporation called Oceanwalk LLC:
As of November, the property will be fully taken over. We came into town this week snd had reserved a room. The motel is now a quarter filled with transients who are renting rooms as apartnents, sitting around the pook getting drunk, kids playing in the pool area and back parking lot, and shady looking people moving beds, chairs, and furniture out of the rooms during the day. When we returned to our room tonight, the gate lock was broken off. It is truly a sad situation. If you come down, stay away! I shudder to think what this modest neighborhood will be like in a few months, how the crine rate will rise, and how some company will be making money off of drunks and addicts.
I never say this about Pompano Beach, but I will not miss it after this staym Truly disgusting!
