I bought a coupon for plumbing work with Roto-​rooter. The plumber that showed up to my house refused to honor it. I was looking for him to work on my garbage disposal. He quoted me an incredibly high price but we eventually agreed to proceed because we needed the work done ASAP. He then grabbed one tool, twisted one piece and the disposal worked. He charged me almost 200 $ for 5 minutes of work, did not honor my coupon and tried to offer me services I did not need.
This company is dishonest.

Insanity, pure and total insanity. Repairman didn’t even look at my heater and said «That’s going to cost you $ 1500.00.» Wait! It’s for a 30 gallon LowBoy heater in a small condo. He wrote up the estimate as follows: $ 565 for remove and replace heater; $ 260 for valve replace; $ 115 for «pickup of heater»…total $ 940.00 WITHOUT the price of heater included! RIDICULOUS ESTIMATE. A $ 400 heater Roto Rooter marks up1.67x to $ 668.00. Total cost would been $ 1608.00 BUT WAIT… there might be some more charges depending on the job! BEWARE STAY AWAY DANGER

Had Oscar from Roto-​Rooter here to unplug a drain in our kitchen, we called first thing in the morning and he was here shortly after. Fixed the problem and gave us some great advice on how we can prevent this from happening again. We live in Oakland park and always use Roto-​Rooter in the pompano location as they are great to deal with.

We called Roto Rooter as we were having a house wide problem with efficiency of flushing toilets with associated (gross) backups. James 2318 arrived on time, was polite and took the time to investigate the problem areas. We also needed a water filtration system that we has purchased installed as well as fix/​replace some leaky faucets. James provided an accurate estimate, gave us a discount due to the amount of work we were doing and proceeded to work and work and work to get the job completed. He worked hard and steady, explained any problems that he was having and offered various solutions. Each area completed was left clean. It took James 3 days of work, and the final day where he worked for over 11 hours and yet he was professional, polite and obviously really cared about the quality of his work. James was absolutely fantastic, and represented his company at the highest calibre. We will call Roto Rooter again and ask that James be the plumbing professional who services our home. Thank you James!

So this guy Dennis from Roto-​Rooter comes in … checks out my problem and under 15 minutes we’re back in business. Exceptional work. Confident and VERY Professional. I Live in Port St Lucie and every half hour I would get a call from Roto-​Rooter dispatch telling me how far away and how many minutes it would be before they would get here. I could not ask for better service. Thank You Dennis and Roto-​Rooter. Without exception … from now on … I’m calling You. On a side note I had called 2 other places and emailed them and I still have not heard back from them. Roto-​Rooter 100%.

Dishonest estimates, tardy, rude, unapologetic, and unprofessional; Avoid this company. Roto Rooter said they would be at my home between 12 and 2 pm for a clogged toilet. When they had not arrived, I called at 1pm and they said they could not tell me exactly what time they would be there, but they would be before 2pm. I waited. At 2:05 I received a call from «Darryl» who quite rudely told me that they would could be there on 30 minutes. I said I would wait, though it was very inconvenient and I had been waiting for two hours already. Another 45 minutes went by and the plumber had still not arrived. Finally, I saw him waiting at the gate and directed him to my home. I was now late for my Dr. appointment. When he finally gave the estimate, it was to «pull» the toilet and snake it out– for $ 355.00. This is exorbitant– the entire toilet did not cost that amount installed. I guess he looked at my home and thought we could be ripped off. He claimed that he was «throwing in» a camera inspection of the line that was worth $ 400. I did not need a camera inspection of the line; I needed a toilet unclogged. The fair price for unclogging a toilet should be much less than $ 200.
