Stray Aid and Rescue

I was notified that there was a change in comment and realized the owner rescinded her lengthy reply to my review. Obviously, now the bulleted response in detail I wrote does not apply, however, I still maintain my review. My parents ended up working with Peggy Adams in Palm Beach (which was a drive for them but well worth it — they were very helpful) and Cats Exclusive (much closer but also AMAZINGLY helpful and knowledgeable). We got the help we needed for these babies and now they are «the neighborhood» cats — all spayed/​neutered, flea treated and vaccinated.

First class operation, great service for a great price. Would definitely use them for my next pet. Thank you for taking such good care of our sweet boy Hardy.

This is one of the best places you can go for spaying and neutering of your pets the people there are just wonderful concerned loving pet owners and take wonderful care of your best friend I had A wonderful experience the employees are very caring and very helpful and I would use this establishment again don’t forget to donate to help the poor unfortunate animals that can’t help themselves

Awesome operation! Now have a family of six outdoor cats that are growing up here and are all spayed and neutered, for much less than a reasonable price. People are fantastic throughout boomerang’s and stray aid. Cool stuff there too!

A neighbor asked me to come see a kitten on her rear door step. It was a tiny baby and it was dead. I looked around and saw the other 21 cats living in her backyard. She is elderly and told me she just started to feed a few and they turned in to this colony. She was still putting out food for them but could not afford anymore expense. Though she continued to feed them she could not increase the amount of food for them. So the kitten died. This is how I discovered the angels at Stray-​aid!
I knew I needed to find some sort of resource for her and I found out that Stray-​aid was a perfect fit. I rented my first trap and began rendering this first colony sterile! Two years later ALL the cats in that colony are thriving and kittenless!
Now, two years later, and 4 plus colonies later, I cannot say enough about the people that make all this possible. They not only perform these surgeries and vaccinations but also EDUCATE the public about this enormous problem and the role they can play in helping to change this sad situation.
At this time, I have had over ninety surgeries performed at Stray-​aid and NOT ONE COMPLICATION!!! That speaks volumes! We salute you all! Thank you for all that you do!

We absolutely LOVE Stray Aid and Rescue. They have helped me spay and neuter LOTS of kitties that I have found in m neighborhood. They are always so helpful, friendly, and full of lots of LOVE for the animals. They are so affordable too! We are so thankful that they are here in S. Florida.

I have had 5 cats spayed through the Spay Aid program. They are friendly, efficient, and doing amazing work for the animal community.

This is a hidden gem!!! Low cost spay and neuter with the most awesome, caring staff! We have had 3 adopted dogs spayed and neutered here and everything went great. I don’t know why more people don’t know about Stray-​Aid. They are wonderful and extremely reasonable.

These ladies are freakin awesome! I live in Miami but drove to Wilton Manors because of their reviews. I was not let down. Its obvious they have a genuine care for animals. From the moment I handed over my Homie to them I just knew he was in good hands. When I arrived to pick him up, they read the after care instructions and when they opened the door, the founder was sitting there cuddling him saying how she was trying to sneak a few more cuddles. I applaud what they do. They maintain a high level of professionalism yet make you feel so comfy leaving your pet. THANK YOU AGAIN!

These people are saints whose rewards are in Heaven. I live in an association in Wilton Manors where there is a stray colony. I was not a «cat person» but these poor creatures were begging for food and reproducing. Some people wanted them «gone» and others talked about «what we could do, maybe, someday.» Nothing happened except more kittens arrived. Somehow we found Stray Aid. I was clueless as to what to do. They suggested an employee who will do trapping. Her name is Cheryl and she is wonderful. Dedicated, compassionate, professional and never once gave me an «eye roll» although she should have. I was totally ignorant as to what to do. Cheryl trapped about ten cats. They were all medically managed and «fixed» at Stray Aid. Cheryl clearly is not in this to make money. I am amazed at how much she did for so little. We now have a healthy and content colony whose size has not grown since we found Stray Aid. God Bless them all. Robert G

I adopted a puppy from Gail at pure breed rescue. We had her spayed at stray aid and rescue in Wilton Manors because this is the Vet that she works with to spay her animals. I can’t say enough wonderful things about the people who work at Stray Aid and Rescue. They are truly dedicated, trained professionals. They did a wonderful surgery on my puppy, she is recovering beautifully. While I was waiting to sign my dog in, I noticed people dropping off stray cats to be spayed/​neutered to help keep the cat population down. If anyone reading this would like to make a difference, go to their website and view their wish list of paper towels, pet food etc that you can drop off when you bring your pet for spay/​neuter.

Had 5 strays done with them. Great staff and great cause. It’s a shame that one crazy reviewer is bringing the stars down. I literally could not have helped those cats without these guys. Thanks for what you do!

This organization is among the best out there for pet rescue. I adopted my dog from a different org that used Stray Aid as their neutering/​spaying service. They are all so kind and truly dedicated to the cause. At the time, they operated out of a mobile unit at TY Park, and I was anxious about it being a «mobile» surgery for my pup’s neutering. But as soon as I met these wonderful ladies, I was completely at ease. Thank you, ladies of Stray Aid and Rescue, for being such beautifully compassionate people. You make the world a better place for so many pets in need– and the families that welcome them into their lives.

Am amazing group of caring individuals. They have one mission to help stop pet overpopulation. I have used their services many times and am always impressed with the compassion and care provided.
