2 out 3 three times trying out the samich shop I bought an Italian sub that had a minuscule total of 3 pieces of deli meat on each half and the sub not closed(open faced and overlapping each other) and the tomato, onion etc scattered all around the to go box. I had to rebuild the sub before eating it. I paid $ 10 for it all 3 times and received a gas station quality sandwich. Presentation terrible, poor quality food, and overpriced. Won’t be back.

The store has been here going on 2 years and I just noticed three days ago. Had my wife with me so I pulled in. It’s in a convenient location. First impression is a good one. It’s wide open, squeaky clean, brightly lit, and the staff if friendly. The owner(Dan) noticed my Red Sox shirt which started a long conversation. A trip to the restroom takes you past the kitchen and scullery. All three very clean. Now to the food. The menu was fairly large for a Samich shop with good variety of both hot and cold. My wife selected the Patty Melt(4) and Pasta Salad(3). The patty melt was fresh and hot and smelled great on the grill. Being from Boston Dan mentioned that his roast beef was better than two of my Boston favorites Kelly’s in Revere and Boston’s Best. So I requested the roast beef only to find out he was sold out. He explained he roasts it himself on Sunday and doesn’t cut until Monday, and because of the short week sold out earlier that day. Instead I opted for the meatball Samich and fries. The pictures will give you an idea of the of the portions. At this point I was a little disillusioned. The meatballs were stone cold. Of course they were apologetic and reheated it, but It should have come out that way. The short of it? I’ll go back again.

Bruschetta chicken salad was great!!! Very big salad with lots of onions, black olives, cucumbers and tomatoes and plenty of chicken!

A lot of bang for your buck. Turkey sandwich couldn’t even close. I’ve done Laspadas and Sharpies in Fort Lauderdale. This place is right there with them.

Great sandwich shop hidden inside a gas station on the corner of Copans and powerline rd. Typically the gas station sandwitch is shunned and thought of as borderline unedible but that couldn’t be farther from the truth here. I recently started a new job and a few of the co-workers were all ordering from here for lunch. This wasn’t their first time and they vouched for them so I decided to give them a try(though I won’t lie, I was a sceptic). Fortunately I was pleasantly surprised that it was rather good. The bread is fluffy and stuffed with a generous amount of meat. The subway across the street has much to learn from these guys. The typical veggie sub options can all be found and also tasted fresh and delicious. I got a whole Italian sub and it was only about $ 8. It was more than enough for me for lunch and I even finished the other half for dinner. I’ve heard that thir salads are also very good and Ill be sure to try one soon.

This is a great lunch spot. No BS, no fancy theme, no snappy names of sandwiches. What you WILL find here is good quality and fresh meat and people that take pride in making you a damn good sandwich ! First time I was here I asked if the roast beef was rare, and it was perfect. The salads are no joke either. Good variety of nice big salads so you can stay away from the bread if you chose and still walk out totally satisfied. I like this place is lot Clean, friendly, no frills and 100% excellent food at fair price.

This restaurant is close to my office. Other ppl have order and said great things about the service. I guess I got the short straw. They told me it would take 30 – 45 mins. I called to inquire where our delivery was after 75 mins. I was told it was on the way. When it finally arrived the fries were hot but under cooked and the bacon was cold an rubbery. Won’t be ordering from this place again.

Under new ownership. Food was bland. I always order the chicken California wrap. The chicken was rubbery and had no flavor. My co-worker ordered a chicken bruschetta salad. The chicken again was rubbery — my co-worker said it was almost like it was pre-made chicken. Also they are trying a new chili recipe, its a little sweet for my liking. I am sad because this use to be our favorite spot.

Pretty good food, terrible service. It bums me out because it’s so close to my work, but I avoid it like the plague now because of how rude the female employees are.

I work in the area and order from Samich Shop with several co-workers once or twice a week. We discovered them in December 2012. I have never been inside. We always do delivery. The delivery guy knows us and is super nice. The foods are fresh and good. It shows merit when the food is fresh with no brown lettuce or wilted veggies on delivery orders. Because with delivery its not like you can confront them and its a pain to take the food back. So I’ve noticed a lot of restaurants skimp on delivery food for this reason. Not in this case. I think 2 out of 20 meals I got a couple of lettuce ends in my salad. I often get salads with chicken on them and have never once got a piece of gristle on the chicken, which scores major points with me. Cause that is a big turnoff. Otherwise, the salads are very good(and large portions), especially the Black & Bleu, Bruschetta and the California Cobb. Chicken & Rice soup is tasty. The wraps and sandwiches are awesome. Nice soft bread and good choice of wraps. The cold cuts are good quality. Ham is a little salty but I’m not a big salt fan so maybe its fine for other people. I haven’t tried the burgers but a co-worker gets/likes them. This place is attentive to detail. We always have people in our office with special requests(no mayo, extra cheese, dressing on the side, etc) and they always get it right.

Since starting my new job, I’ve driven by here 8 times a week. I was always curious about it. The menu looked great, and the sandwiches seem huge. So I arrived and walked towards the store and I was displeased that the outside smells like a mix of poo and bad seafood. There were only a few people inside with some old tables and chairs. I was greeted, and I ordered the Big Trio(turkey, ham, roast beef) on white bread. I was told the tater tots were frozen, so I didn’t bother getting those. It says their fries are fresh cut, they make their own bruschetta and homemade banana pudding as well. So that should be worth a try next time. I got home and thought that the amount of lettuce outweighed the meat, but as soon as I bit into it, there was more than Publix. The meat was thoroughly stuffed toward the bottom of the bread hiding beneath the lettuce. Next time I won’t get the trio because the ham was too salty and overpowering compared to the turkey and the roast beef. But I loved the bread it was soft, fluffy and flavorful. The lettuce was really crisp and fresh. I was really impressed with the freshness and flavor of it all. The large(12″) cost me $ 8.95 after a 10% discount for liking them on Facebook. If I went back I’d love to try one of their paninis, or turkey and bacon sandwich. They got my interest, and I want to go back and try more. So not bad.
