Roach motel! Checked in on a Friday. Room seemed clean, nice big kitchen & fridge. Noticed roaches the next morning & both the tub & the sink were backed up & nasty. We talked to the front desk guy. It looks like it’s owned or run by a family that lives there. The guy was rude and all his responses were«I don’t know»(limited English skills??). We finally spoke to the maintenance guy and he fixed the sink & run & sprayed for roaches while we were out for the day. On Saturday night we noticed a bunch of single guys checking in to single rooms. They were hanging out at the pool drinking beer & then the prostitutes started showing up. Roaches still around the next morning & the continental breakfast is a joke! Def not a place for families. Thank God this was our last night here! STAYFARAWAYFROMTHISPLACE

This place is gross. I did a lot of research before booking it and for whatever reason the reviews I read were good. But this was not our experience. The room was really small, dumpy and grimy. We were very unimpressed. The rooms look nothing like the pictures. There were burn marks in the carpet and on the bed spread, carpet didn’t look like it had been vacuumed, there were several holes in the bathroom door that look like they were attempted to be repaired by a five year old. Don’t stay here if you can help it.

Late night travel on 35, headed north through rain. There weren’t many options available, and this motel was listed as being only 20 miles up the road. Sadly, the 20 miles was actually east, as the crow flies, so staying here added 40 minutes to our trip. Ah well, at least it was a safe place to lay our heads at 11pm. All of the other rooms in town were double the price I paid for a bed, and I just considered myself lucky that the smoking room smelled more of disinfectant than of smoke, and that the stains on the carpet were long dry. The beds were a bit too close to the loud air conditioner, but it was a cool enough night for us to turn it off and rest. The morning brought me a refreshingly lukewarm shower, as at 7am I was well behind most of the travelers who had stayed the night. I gave myself an exfoliating scrub with the towel, dressed, and left to begin the day’s drive. The hotel does provide a breakfast of sorts. I spotted a few pastries and some milk, but did not pause long enough to eat. The family that runs the hotel were courteous at 11pm, and at 7:30 am. And they apologized for the lack of hot water. So why three stars for this experience? Because it was just that – exactly in the middle. This is not a hotel for the discerning guest. It is a low end motel built for people who realize that the next available room might be too far past their ability to stay alert. It was just what I needed at exactly the moment I needed it to appear.

This place was a nightmare. When we opened the door to the room, we noticed that there were fans on the carpet and furniture was piled on other furniture. I sent my son down to tell the front desk in case there was a mistake and we were given the wrong room. The woman was extremely rude to my 12yr old son. My husband went down to talk to her. She said the carpets were cleaned. She did apologize when my husband mentiined how she treated my son. Then this morning’s continental breakfast consisted of 2 pieces of bread that we could toast, 5 mini chocolate donuts(the kind you would get at the convenient store) and 2 danishs! We were down there at 7:30 am! Stay far away from this place!
