Lovely secluded park. We loved the space to spread out and not to worry about others close by. Great little romantic spot. Free parking, restrooms and showers too. The locals don’t even know about this place.

I’m hesitant to add this review because I don’t want word to spread on this awesome park. My husband and I come here often to take a dip in the ocean and relax. It’s never crowded, clean, and beautiful. Winter haven Park is a little slice of heaven on earth.

Free Public Beach access with a shower & foot wash to rinse you and your personal belongings from unwanted sand. Parking was PERFECT! No waiting when I arrived. Public Men/Ladies Restrooms– Exceptionally Clean Picnic tables and grills Very clean & family friendly. No Trash Anywhere! Calm, Quiet, No Vendors, Lifeguard on Duty I will definitely return to this spot when I am back in the area :) Thanks Amanda!

I love this small park! It’s right next door to where my family lives – Towers at Ponce – so we only need to walk for a minute or two to get there. Yesterday afternoon we had a cookout there. There are about 4 or so grills so make sure to bring some charcoal and some mesquite chips for smoking! Stopped by King’s Seafood under the Dunlawton bridge for some fresh swordfish, rock shrimp, salmon, and large wild caught shrimp. Mmm so good! Bring flashlights in case you are there late like we were. There are bathrooms which are usually well stocked and clean as well as several trashcans, picnic tables, and a small area for dogs to run around in. Lots of vegetation though, so bring bugspray! They even have water fountains and squirting things to wash your feet off after you go down to the beach!

Free Swimming! Those familiar with the Daytona beaches know that they are increasingly becoming more commercial, and if they’re not outrageously overcrowded, then they cost way too much money to go to. I mean $ 20 just to get in? Come ON! Luckily Winter haven Park is just down the coast in Ponce Inlet, and not only is it free, but it is rarely ever crowded! The Good: Just Beach: No trailers selling dune buggies or boogie boards, no drink carts, and no cars whatsoever, this place is a quiet little beach where you can sunbathe in peace. Free Admission: I mentioned it before, but it bears repeating. This place does not charge you one red cent for admission. Woo-hoo! Tourists? Where?: Because most people have never heard of Winter Haven Beach no one really knows where it is, which is a GOOD thing(FYI it’s about 2 ½ miles down(south) from the sunglow pier and is next to a whole bunch of condos. But SHHH! don’t tell anyone!) Winter haven park is basically my one stop beach spot, and I would advise anyone with a hankerin’ to visit the waves to check it out! Overall 10/10= Winter Haven is a Winner!
