Gate Food Post

I stopped in here the other day for a couple of hot dogs and a drink. Nothing like healthy food right off the rollers! They have a large fountain drink selection with optional flavor ad-​ons. The gas prices at thou no were in line with the rest of the area. The store was very clean.

When I magically make it home on a wing & a prayer for my emptying gas tank, this is the first place I stop the next morning. I used to live in the condos right behind this station so when I was in the need of some munchies, I could pack up my pooch and go for a walk.
Plenty of pumps. Free air for deflating tires. Vacuum (50 cents for an undetermined amount of minutes). I think the only thing this one is missing is a car wash. They actually have a nice grassy area to walk around and stretch your legs if you happen to be passing through on a road trip.
There are multiple entrances for this station. There’s the obvious one off A1A. However, if you need to keep going south, head out the back and catch the light at Executive Way. Much easier than having to do a U-​Turn. One thing to keep in mind in the AM — if you’re turning in at the light make sure the ‘No Turn on Red’ sign is OFF so you don’t run into any elementary school kids. Casualties are no fun.

I have always liked this Gate Store. It’s close to where I work sometimes. This is one of the few Star Gate Models. The one on Touchton Rd was the first then this one. It just a fun store to build and it’s big almost 5500 sq ft. This place can be a zoo at times but they always keep it up and well stocked.
