We found this service through the«Hire it Done» website/radio show to remodel a bath in my 70’s colonial home. Randy came out for the initial estimate and after reviewing costs with several other contractors we were pleased with both their offer AND the fact they they had financing options available for us. I decided to take on the demo work myself and bring in Mr. Bid Services for laying a new tile floor, installing a tub and surround, drywall, plumbing, running HVAC for a vent fan, and setting our new toilet and vanity. Boy was I glad I chose a contractor that can do it all! We ran into a significant mold issue that turned our 1 week bath flip into a several week interior and exterior rebuild(in December/January mind you!). Add to the list of jobs: mold remediation, dehumidifiers, identifying the source of the moisture, and removal and rebuild of exterior walls/insulation/siding. YIKES! This made it very difficult on us(especially my 8 month pregnant wife), our budget, and the team at Mr. Bid because we were going to far exceed the planned 1 week job timeline… but our project manager Shannon worked some miracles to get her team over to the house as early and often as possible to give us our ONLY full bath in the house back and looking great! Everyone on the team was very friendly, professional, and trust-worthy. Most days I left the house open for the crew to work while we were at our day jobs and we always came home to as clean a house as could be expected. Shannon was very accessible if questions, concerns, or frustrations arose(as they inevitably will with any major job), Liz back at the office was wonderful to deal with over the phone, and I doubt you’ll find a nicer group of guys on-site anywhere. Other than nitpicking a few resolvable hiccups along the way, overall I was very satisfied with this team. We, through unforeseeable circumstances, had probably one of the more unique and challenging jobs they’ve had to deal with and I am grateful for their patience and quality of their work. I’ve already referred them to my family for a job they are hoping to have completed. Thank you Shannon, Liz, Randy, Jim, Rick, and everyone who helped us along the way!
