I try and avoid this store but sometimes it’s the closest and most convenient etc. Large selection of Mexican brands; you will find everything Mexico here. Gigantic meat counter and service. Recently became a Spartan store with the prices to match. I believe that once upon a time this was an A&P grocery; my how the mighty have fallen.
I refer to this store as a ‘ghetto store’. It is not friendly and welcoming. It’s cramped, dark, dirty and dingy with security cameras everywhere and bullet proof glass around the service counter. I often feel like I’m shopping inside a high security prison. The parking lot is horrible with pot holes large enough to swallow your car.
Apparently this store has a high amount of theft because you are watched constantly by cameras and store managers standing menacingly in the checkout area.
Despite all this, the store is very busy and obviously profitable because it stays in business.
