A most enjoyable place to go for breakfast. The seating is minimal, so be prepared to wait a while or sit at the counter, which is what we opted to do. I’ve always enjoyed being able to sit at a counter, and this one was particularly enjoyable. I think I was greeted by every single member of the waitstaff while I was sitting there. The service was incredibly fast, we had our food in less than five minutes. Fast is good, delicious is better, and this place managed to do both. I was thrilled to find a Kielbasa omelette on the menu, and I enjoyed every bite of it. Huge portions, but very tasty. As others have pointed out this place is cash only, but the prices are so reasonable it shouldn’t be an issue. Breakfast for three came to less than $ 20. I will absolutely be back if I’m ever in the neighborhood.

Many of my friends love this place so I decided to try it. My friend told me that the place sometimes gets very busy and there is a waiting line. We went on a Tuesday morning. There was no line, only four to five tables were occupied. Anyhow, I was expecting a great breakfast experience based on what I heard from my friends who live in the area. Then, I was extremely disappointed. As soon as you walk in the building, you realize that it will be your average coney island experience, but unfortunately I was hungry and decided to try the place. The menu is not impressive. They have different names for regular omletes that you can have at any coney island. The omletes are priced between 7.50 to 9 dollars which I believe is alot for the type of food that youbare getting and the average atmosphere. The place does not accept credit cards(my friends failed to tell me that and there is no sign that states that. Fortunately I had cash. The service was average. Also one funny thing, they charge an extra dollar if you ask them to split the check on an omlete(even though they only accept cash).

1 star because I was unable to eat there. 1, cash only. 2, no tables and as a larger guy booths don’t work for me. 3, not able to pick up a meal. It’s 2016 and the owners are exempt from wheelchair accessible seating?

This was my first time the breakfast omelette I had was a nice size,(farmers omelette) I’ll say the prices are decent for the amount of food. My service was good food came in a timely matter, place was packed! I’ll be returning to check out more of the menu

This mainly breakfast restaurant is an odd duck and gives off a weird vibe. Cash only. Very strange. They have no kids menu. Very odd. No carry out. So how about a grab a table and then just ask for a to go box?! The price of basically of any breakfast item costs about 20−30% more than your typical greasy spoon diner. $ 9 omelet is fine if it’s of good quality but it’s no better than a $ 6 one down the street. $ 5.50 for eggs, hash browns and toast but i can get the same slop down the street for $ 3. $ 20 plus tip for 2 adults and a toddler for breakfast and i could’ve got the same meal for $ 12 down the street. See a theme here?! One would logically think the food would be of better quality however it’s not and it’s debatable that it’s lesser quality. The menu states«We charge extra for any extras» on the menu also is weird. So if want extra butter you’re going to charge me extra?! Oh wait… I won’t need any extra butter because your food comes drenched in it. Just very greasy and low quality in my opinion. All these people who say this place is cheap… compared to what?! Maybe the portions are bigger to explain the higher price?! Oh wait…2 eggs are 2 eggs so it’s not bigger. 3 pieces of french toast is 3 pieces of french toast so it’s not bigger. I’ll try to polish this turd of a restaurant(in my opinion) and say at least while they were a little loud for my taste the wait staff was attentive. I won’t be back nor I’m sure they care.

The fastest breakfast spot around! It’s a cash only joint with a history of serving damn good breakfast food for decades. The only place I’ve ever had a coney dog omelet which consists of your typical egg omelet but with split hot dogs inside and chill, onions, and melted cheese on top. Recommend a side of hot sauce, toast, and hash Browns but you won’t finish it! Good bang for you buck but you gotta go early, they close by like 2 of 3 pm in the afternoon. A great place to get hangover food where the waitress will call you Hun and bring you another chocolate milk to smooth the burning in your throat from last night’s whiskey!

By far the best restaurant for breakfast. The food is delicious, fast and cheap. I’ve been coming to the bun for years and love our sassy waitresses, that’s what had us come back after the first visit so bring your big girl panties.

A far drive if you don’t live in the area, this is definitely a breakfast spot. The other items featured were not the best. The pancakes are fabulously tasty.

This restaurant lives up to its name because you definitely will be stuffed. The price is reasonable for the gigantic servings. This establishment is cash only but there is an ATM machine in the restaurant not far from the cashier/checkout…I would highly recommend this restaurant for hungry individuals. Remember, bring your appetites because you’ll get full/beyond full!!!

Cash only dive spot. Very large portions, decent prices… Food was ok. Service was good. Atmosphere could use a little help. Pancakes are brushed with tons of melted butter, not appealing. Omelette was huge, but the ingredients were not all fresh and quality was poor.

As others said, big portions and reasonable prices. There was a short wait time for a table but was expected for a Saturday morning. The server brought a high chair for my friend’s child without being asked, which was needed and much appreciated. And the food came fairly quickly! I was impressed and plan to return. Yes, it’s cash only so that’s annoying but there’s an ATM inside.

Got their famous pancakes(with cinnamon)…wow! You get 3 pancakes, I could only finish two and I never leave with leftovers! Quick service for how busy they were. The pancakes were top notch! My only gripe was the waitress’ humor — it wasn’t my cup of tea and it was aggravating. But others may like that kind of humor. Cash only!

I love hitting up the Stuffed Bun for a filling breakfast when I’m in the neighborhood. The portions are huge and the prices are cheap(btw cash only). My favorite menu item is the breakfast burrito stuffed with delicious bacon and eggs smothered in salsa. The waitstaff is sassy and is always a joy to converse with while dining. My coffee cup is always full and the food arrives extremely fast. I can’t wait to return to the Stuffed Bun!

Let me start wiyh this… Huge portions. I wasn’t sure what to think about this place. There is always a sign looking for a cook and a waitress out front. What this tells me is there could be an issue with consistency. Nope. There is a small sign to tell you«please wait to be seated». We waited and were approached by a bus boy showing us a freshly cleaned table. Odd but still okay. The waitresses had moments where they were yelling across the small but packed dining room floor. This was almost a deal breaker as I am not one for a loud and boisterous eating enviroment. Having already driven around for 30 min on a late Sunday morning, I chose to overlook this often annoying element. My wife and I sat down and were met with a very pleasent waitress with a very good balance of being helpful without visiting the table too much. My wife ordered coffee with biscuits and gravy. Outstanding. I ordered the Country Omelette with a diet. Good Lord… I couldn’t finish the plate which is a rarety. The omelette was huge and stuffed to the rafters with a large side of expertly grilled hash browns. Even when we left the waitress asked if I wanted a refill of my diet to go. Definately recommend this place. With spuratic hours and a limited menu, don’t go expecting exotic eats… won’t happen. Top grade diner food… you bet. Oh, bring cash… no credit card excepted

Good food, big portions, low prices Tried out Stuffed Bun for breakfast. I was really hungry, but was informed this place has big portions. The diner has a retro feel, but our waitress was awesome. I went with the breakfast burrito with egg whites and sausage inside. The food came out super fast(I kept thinking how did they cook it that fast). ON the side of my breakfast burrito was home fries. They lacked seasoning, but tasted fine with ketchup. The breakfast burrito was huge and tasted very good. I could barely finish it. The egg whites inside were light and fluffy, the sausage tasty. Everything else inside complimented those ingredients as well. Very pleased with this place, and the giant burrito was only 7.50 If i remember right. Stuffed and happy, if ever North of Detroit I will be back!

There’s nothing too fancy about this place. Just good(large) breakfast plates for good prices. The pancakes were huge and delicious. I can’t assure they’re the«best pancakes in the world» like the sign proclaimed when I was last there, but they’re definitely satisfying. Don’t forget to bring cash!
